This last Christmas there was going to be a NexGen series 2 upper/barrel/bcg...so count me in...I buy a lower....had a mech trigger on hand...had a lower parts kit...had a rogers stock, and also a complete car buttstock laying around....So The New Year rolls around....then Febuary, March, April.....no series 2 yet so yall get my drift....I built up the lower in January...I see that damn lower thats built ,and ready to roll every freakin day...I gave in when I stumbled across a 16" lite hunter barrel, gas block, and tube on a shelf in the bunker....ordered a DPMS upper to match the lower,and a handguard. The upper got here today....the rail next week Yippee Wash

Bigtruck The ar15 vs an ar308 is very different...its not the caliber you should be concerned with ....an ar15 spring with an ar308 buffer will cause coil bind among other things....the coil count is different and so is the length of the springs . the only time I ever had a bolt not catching was when I grabbed an ar15 spring off of my bench instead of an ar308...would not lock back. If you are wanting to reduce recoil get a Tubbs...you cant go wrong....then tune with the gas block....and a heavy buffer if you wish ....oh and measure that gas port ....x caliber has been known to not drill the right hole Wash the ar15 is the one on the bottom......look at the coil count and the diameter of the springs 308 car buffer
