Jgun, I have some Hornady 150 grain FMJ w/Cannelure if you're interested. http://www.hornady.com/store/30-Cal-.308-150-gr-FMJ-BT/
  2. Thats funny, I was on Brownells site last week looking for a 6.8 Barrel and couldn't find one.

    M110 Case

I would like to find one. Knights Armament does not show one on their site.
  4. I just received one. 189.00 wasn't a bad price.
  5. Anyone know what brand and where to find the issued type case for the M110 SASS?
  6. Did you see Sinclair stocks the Accu-Pod? and Hellweg belts at Police store....
  7. imschur, Would you get trafic credit for thoes of us that have a commercial account with Brownells? Ya know what really chaps my @$$ when dealing with them! The way the put all of the technical information in the description, like dimension and weight. (ever try ordering from Natchez?) It’s like reading a tantalizing menu at a good restaurant when you’re starving. The Mrs. really doesn’t care for Brownell’s at all!
  8. so I'm not the only one!!!!
  9. New seats for the Boat and some lures and some line, but I only told her about the seats - Bass Pro TOO much stuff from Brownells.......damn them for carrying so much stuff. BCG from Alpha Shooting Sports (189 bucks for the DPMS) New barrels from Midway and some new casings for my grenade launcher from MLR Distributing
  10. I am utterly disgusted with Brownells!!!!!!!! I went to order a PRS stock, Primary Weapon compensator, and a Dewey cleaning guide. Three freaking items! Thats all I needed(wanted)! Several hours later I hit the checkout button...... but I did find everything I needed to complete my SASS style build >:(
  11. Everything’s in the safe. I don’t need a weapon for home defense… The SOB that wakes her up, is in for more suffering than I could ever inflict with a shotgun, rifle, or pistol. I did this once, now if I’m late, I sleep in the car…..still have a limp….. :o
  12. I have tried "#5 Fill safe"..she said no. They are up, down, disassembled, stacked, and squished in there....Now I stuff them in the mattress.....
  13. Dont know if the barrels longer than 20" help accuracy, but at 26" an 16 pounds I can club somthin with my 22-250 when I run outta ammo....
  14. I shoot bolt guns, A .308 Winchester SAMMI NoGo gauge is 1.6340 A 7.62X51 NATO Go gauge is 1.6355 Now, I have yet to measure the headspace in my rifle but right off the back it might close on a .308 NoGo. Having been through a case separation, this would bother me. It looks like the rifle will be built soon, she's recovering from surgery nicely and chemo has not started yet.
  15. I like my long heavy barrels. Don't have a damn bit of science or logic to back this up with. I think the short, stubby guns look funny.
  16. They found two additional tumors and we are still waiting for the doctors to decide what the next course of action will be. At this point I have so much pent up frustration, I'm going to go through the entire case of pink shells the first chance I get.
  17. I was looking for parts/Google.
  18. Milano 12 gauge . Beretta Xtrema 12 gauge
  19. imschur. I made the post. Brownells has some pink cases and will donate 10% towards finding a cure. How many of you take your Girlfriends, Wives and Daughters out shooting/hunting with you?
  20. The Mrs. got the news on March 24th, she's 32. I'm encouraging everyone I know to buy some of the "Federal Top Gun Pink 12 Gauge". ATK is donating a percentage of the sales to breast cancer research. Even if you don't have a 12 gauge, when your kids are sorting out your stuff, they'll ask "What the heck is with the pink shells?" Please chime in if you or a loved one has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
  21. I've been eyeballin this one also. I would guess they would be @12" long.
  22. The Mrs. was diagnosed with breast cancer so I have not been able to spend any time with my hobby. Yesterday I got to looking at the 18" SASS barrel I ordered from JSE Surplus weeks ago. The description on their web site was "DPMS 18" 308 Winchester 1x10 twist black teflon coated fluted barrel" and knowing the difference between the chambers, I thought great, I already shoot a Palma and a standard 308. The barrel is stamped 7.62X51 NATO I was quite irked with everything, so I sent an email to JSE. They quickly sent a reply, I can return the barrel for a refund and they changed the description on their web site to reflect the stamping on the barrel. Mistakes happen and they have made it right. Kudos to them. Shes making a rapid recovery and I hope to get this rifle built soon,
  23. ...It was 600 bucks used but NIB.....couldn't pass it up
  24. I am a big fan of the classic look. Wood furniture is what I prefer, my hunting guns all have wood stocks from my field shotgun to the 22lr rifle. When the latest Brownells catalog came out I was over joyed to see AR15 furniture in WALNUT! http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=38906/avs|Make_3=AR-15zz1zzM4/Product/AR_15_M16_WOOD_STOCK_SETS "Tupperware" is for the kitchen not my gun...
  25. I wonder in the over length neck is getting jammed into the throat? I would recommend following the reloading specifications to the letter. Lets face it our toys are too expensive to break due to an over pressurized case failure. Be safe,
