    DI systems work good enough ! This one time at a AZ shoot we dumped around 500 rounds in under 45 minutes through a bumpfire AR . We had to switch uppers. Rounds would cook off in the chamber. My upper was glowing and steaming. Great stuff !

    Buy a stripped lower ! It will be cheaper in the long run. And a lot less of a headache. All of the reasons above should reinforce that.

    From those pictures it looks like the bcg is moving side to side and marking the upper. How much play is there ?? Also was it broken in with very little oil(lube) ?!?

    What does the barrel extension look like where it hit ?? The marks on the lugs are just break in mating. The marks behind the lugs are where the barrel extension hit ! No comments on the gap of the upper and lower fit ???!

    Go with a stripped set, Aero Precision or any other brand you can get your hand on. Buy 2 or 3 uppers and lowers NOW ! And buy what is in stock ,avoid the term B/O....

    If you want that M1 refurbished give Lance a call. After I tear it down and sand blast it reblue it ,reassemble it I will only shoot two rounds through it . lol !

    That's a great price . I have used those SMK's but paid $28 to $34 per 100. Great projectiles !
