Remington executives knew six months into production that the trigger design was faulty. It would have cost $0.46 each to fix the triggers. The were cheap ! Now the fixes cost over a $100 plus shipping and handling. Plus time in the shop .

Get some drill bits and drop them in the hole... Until you find something close. The gas tube should be between .110" and .120" diameter on the inside... My guess is that the gas port hole you have is around 0.068" to 0.076" and can be opened up a little more to help ejection.

What is the size of the gas port hole ? It looks small in comparison to the mark on the barrel. Get some drill bits out and find out. Humor me ! I think this might be the problem.

Laces out !

Open up gas to 100% , first. Then buffer weight , second. If all else fails , add a o - ring to the spring in the bolt. This will help weak ejection/extractions.

Started to laugh but that is some serious stuff. Glad you are alive ! I felt 660 volt 3 phase for about 25 seconds it messed me up for about a month. I was changing light bulbs in the ceiling of the warehouse that I worked in, standing in a wooden box on a forklift 30 feet in the air. Couldn't let go until the forklift driver drop the box 6 feet.
