I was just at WallyWorld and got the last 4 boxes of 224V for $9.97 each. That's another reason why 224V makes sense !

I replaced 2 10mm ,2 223R and 1 308. Gone through 3 cutting ball setups.

I have been using the old lee setup for over a decade with a drill adapter. The one problem is the metal point which exits through the primer hole will wear and the cases length will shorten.

Ordered 224V, 6.5G , 300wsm Quick Trim dies yesterday.

You guys really need to look into the 224Valkyrie , I just bought the reloading dies ,trim dies last weekend and bought Hornady 75 gr tipped & 80vr ELD Match projectiles this week. Picked up a pound of Varget and CFE-223. This setup will be less expensive than the 6.5G to shoot. Just need to cerakote the upper and lower and reassemble my gun again. All you need for this cartridge is a barrel (224V) , bolt(6.8spc) and a magazine (6.8spc), it's all AR15 based. Ammo is $13.99 to $23.99 per box of 20. And 223 projectiles are $20 per 100.

I was tooling around with a cut down 308 case using a 44 caliber bullet, 3 - 4 years ago . There was nothing to shoot it from except a AR15 based rifle . Its name was the DA430. Only made a few rounds of ammo.
