  3. Hand trimming 224V
  4. Trimmed and champfered half of the 224V cases. Kind of a PITA, excessive trimming to get to 1.60". Must get the power trimming setup !
  5. I think I have permanate nerve damage from that gun, it was tingling today !
  6. So I set up the Hornady sizing die which is awesome and sized 112 cases of Federal 224V brass this morning. Going to setup the Lee quick trim die and champfer those cases in the morning.
  7. Hornady 80gr ELD S/D .228 G1 : .485 G7 : .244
  8. Ok ... Done with the 10mmAuto brass ,748 pieces. Thanks @dpete for the great brass. Changed the cutting blades for the rifle brass on the trimmer. Going to do the 224V and 308W brass after I size it.

  10. American Guns and Ammo is good to go in my book !!! The owner is cool and has reasonable prices ! Plus he doesn't bitch when I send him stuff on his phone !!!

  14. So 98Z5V and I built 224Valkyrie's for the Fall Shoot . Tom's gun was completed and worked great while mine was pieced together because I couldn't get to my lower that was done. Purchased a Hornady 2pc die set and a Lee FCD along with a Lee Quick Trim Die for the 224V . I will be using Federal 1X brass , so far I have been buying out WalMart stock of Federal 75grBTHP at each local store that carries the caliber. I'm up to 260 rounds. The projectiles I will start with are Hornady 75grBTHP with the red tip and Hornady 80grELD. I also have 1lb of Varget and 1lb of CFE223. Haven't decided on using Federal GMM SR primers or CCI 41, I have 400 of one and 1000 of the other. Tom was talking about using 88gr ELD projectiles because the 75gr just get blow around by the wind ! I think that some 86grELD's or Tipped MatchKings might be the golden ticket!
  15. Ok so I have trimmed over 300 pieces of 10mmAuto brass. First off the hand trimmer works great for Inside and Outside champering. On cases that our less than trim length it's a breeze , it really shines now ! With cases that are from trim.length to Max length it works well but 50 to 100 cases is enough of a session. Cases with excessive trimming are a PITA. The power drill set-up is the way to go.. The outside champer starts about 2 hundredths above trim legth and makes a clean cut. I think I will be getting two more quick trim cutters , one rifle and one power drill setup.
  16. I'm sure that Costco bottle was aged well over a month ! 33 ... 34. Days 🤗 August was a good month. 😰
  17. Double Shots !!
  18. Nice gun JT , I like the way you described how you got the gun running. Troubleshooting problems seems to be a lost art and you have done it a service here ! 👍
  19. How did you remember that ... Did you find a bottle ! LMAO 😀😃😄😆😅😂😂🤣😭
  20. I put 1600 to 1800 rounds of 9mm through the bumpfire AR before I torn it apart the beginning of this year. Just oiled it before each outing. Didn't clean it for over a year. That thing was dirty as the devil's a$$hole after Texas chilli night ! I also assembled 30 some handguns and lubed them with JB's Lube, never a break-in problem !!!
  21. Not liking the 75gr 224V. Going to try 80gr ELD for reloads.
  22. Read the instructions.
  23. The new Charlies Angel movie will be out soon .
