Saw a large variety of 6.5 Creedmore ammo at LGS' this weekend. Might do a build next year. I like mid length gas systems , they smooth out the cycling actions of the larger framed AR's and reduce the felt recoil over a carbine length system.
Now the gun is running better, try some 155 gr ,165 gr and 175gr projectiles. The 168gr Bthp are a sweetspot weight projectiles for our gun . Also 180gr ammo may not feed well in every chamber, try a box before you buy a lot of it.
I had a 70 Challenger but it had a 318 and was a POS. Sold it to the husband of a lady who took over running Speedworld, saw it run a 10.xx before the dragstrip shut down.
Actually been talking to Lance about that already !!!!! But it will be the shops gun and can only shoot it with him there.
