Thank you brothers, i'm doing really well, i said to the doctor that i had several physicals this year and they all said everything is fine, i asked why did this happen? he said we can't figure this out we are baffled, he said look at it this way forget why it happened, think about how you survived it because you were in such good shape...I guess i have to look at it like that, because i put a lot of effort in exercising, and eating healthy, thats why i was pissed, but like you guys said, go to the range, the range is always good for me to relax, i have to get away from the news, i can't stand listening to this -------fill in the word you think fits this imposter they call a president...

I know crazy isn't it...But i have to keep myself busy so i don't do any hard work, i had a stroke 3 weeks ago spent 3 days in the ER, and they said they can't believe i had one, especially since the VA just gave me a physical, and said instead of coming back in 6 months come back in 9 being you're in such great shape...Anyway i was finally building the 3 car garage/workshop i always wanted plus a zillion other things, so i had to slow down yet keep busy hence the playing soldiers with the bottles ;D

<laughs> maybe i should have had them filled with something strong, congrats to you, and the others who made it this far...

Two weeks ago the Sunday paper had on the front page "Vietnam viet refused rebate from car dealer" I said hmm let me read this...It turns out that Hyundai had a promotion that if you served 4 years in the service you got a $500 dollar rebate, they refused him because he only served 3 years 11 monthe and a few days..They finaly gave it to him, but this is what bothers me, first the guy was in the Airforce and only served in Okinowa, so he was an "era" vet, and the newspaper never said "era", and made it sound like us vets are always crying about money or benefits...The next day i called the newspaper, and they gave me this center of uranus to talk to i asked him to print a retraction and clarify the difference, he said whats the big deal what's the difference, i said how would like me to come over and show you, like i can punch you in the face or i can miss you, he hung up...I never understood this era stuff either you were there or you weren't...Why don't we go a step farther and call any civilian who work on something that was used in Vietnam a Vietnam era civilian...

I got carried away when i saw that they ran about 21cents each, and the small ones fit in the buttstock, and also in the 30 cartirdge cases Another thing i'm going to do is fill them with different oils, STP, Mobile 1, custom mixtures etc..

Great, now you went and did it !!! My Sinclair Tactical Bipod arrived yesterday, and i was perfectly happy with it till i read this, and said well let me at least see what it looks like before i reply to this...So i search around and find this video, that says, "If you like your bipod don't watch this video" i said to myself "yeah right"...Well guess what , today my Sinclair went back, this Atlas is what i've been looking for, thanks five_seven for posting it...There were several things i didn't like about the Sinclair, but i thought i could live with them, but the main thing was the 15 degree left to right movement the Atlas has plus the foward and back position of the legs...Here is the video that changed my mind...

Is 8.0lbs possible for an AR10 with these specs?
weaponizer replied to Hygienist's topic in General Discussion
Here's mine, it weights 8lb 15 oz., you should be able to take 15 oz. off of it.. http://308ar.com/forum/ar-10-pictures/here-we-go-again/15/ -

I second what Matt says, i have a few of them, i get mine from Cops plus, they have very good prices and free shipping over $150, here is a link. http://www.copsplus.com/galcoholsters.php?category=30&sortby=1&perpage=20 Years ago i used to make custom holsters, and for a production holster you can't beat this for the workmanship and the price...

DPMS SASS barrel threading
weaponizer replied to awesymoto's topic in DPMS LR-308 General, Technical Discussion
awesymoto, .730 is the depth of thread, that is basically the standard, and .635 is for Noveske and DPMS panther series, not much difference you would think that they would reach an agreement and all do the .730... <dontknow> -
It holds the settings very well, once everything is locked in place its hard to cut it more than the setting allows...
-
Great, can't wait to see it...
-
Just hang in there Matt, it will be worth the wait... ;D

Its a walk in vault, and i usually keep the accessories, of each gun hanging on the pegboard above it... As far as the handguns, i keep them in the original boxes and only hang the SHTF ones...

People here are friggin nuts, the cars are out to the highway from the gas pumps at all the local stations, where the hell are you going? My friends wife pulled up and the string of F's coming out of her mouth was hilarious , she had just came back from shopping... The humidity here is thru the roof, i just used strapping tape to tie everything down, so i am done outside, now to try and find some old playboy mags and a flashlight in case the electric goes out... ::)
