  1. Damned freaky Connecticuttions.
  2. I think the interior of the bed will most likely be steel with aluminum fenders, kinda like the Ford Ranger which has a steel bed with glued on fiberglass fenders.
  3. I don't think we have anything to worry about. As stated, GM has been building cars overseas, as well as Ford, for decades. The Chinese built cars are primarily for the Asian market due to China's high import tariffs. If we don't build them there GM will miss out on the largest burgeoning car market in the world. Now that'd be stupid. If they start exporting them to the U.S., just don't buy one.
  4. A jaguar, cool. Can't see the photo clearly on my little cell phone screen. I thought you had to go to central and south America to find those
  5. Does anyone have Trisha's number?
  6. What's wrong with an American company getting a chunk of the Chinese market for a change? It's far better than the nearly one way street it has been.
  7. Is that a mountain lion/puma/panther/cougar? Depending on where you are. Plenty of them down here in Florida. They get run over by cars on a regular basis.
  8. I've owned two Ford pick ups and one Ford van and fuel economy wasn"t even in the equation with those trucks. It's about time they chose a different track. But even those gss hogs got better mileage than the Chevy 3500 454 dually we have now. That thing's lucky to get 9-10 mpg on the highway, if you baby it.
  9. It'll certainly scrap for more which means it'll cost more. I wonder how this will effect it's ability to compete.

    well....

It does sound like a hell of deal.
  11. Isn't the DeLorean stainless steel?
  12. Just heard on Motor Week that the 2015 Ford F-150 will have an aluminum body and bed. This will reduce it's weight by 700 pounds. This is a truck crowd, what do y'all think of this?
  13. Microgunner

    well....

I remember seeing this sale in a couple of our wholsaler"s monthly fliers. Don't know why I didn't jump on it.
  14. Microgunner

    well....

    What's a dros?
  15. Microgunner

    well....

We're licensed FFL dealers. I'm going to see if I can get me one of those deals at cost.
  16. Microgunner

    well....

How does that work. Do you get the 22 on the spot or does SIG ship it to your dealer after you provide qualifying paperwork?
  17. Did you give them a naval burial, in Crisco bay?
  18. Nothing like a little bean field shooting. <thumbsup>
  19. Welcome from Florida. Is the other plum OK?
  20. Oh...Fluffy don't joke, I don't think I've ever seen him crack a single smile. Moody bastard. And he's deaf so he doesn't know his name is Fluffy.
  21. The rear facing kid doesn't look like he appreciates being the object of your attention.
  22. That's a big for sure and certain.
  23. The shotgun method isn't unheard of though. Plant City Florida is the strawberry capital of the US and about 18 years ago we suffered a plague of robins right before harvest, Jan-Feb. The authorities lifted protection of the robins and the farmers offered free 12ga. shells to anyone who wanted to walk the fields and shoot the flushing robins. There were millions of robins and a huge number of shooters, me included. I was amazed that no one was shot. The fields sounded like a war zone.
  24. I think you underestimate the size of the fields and the number of birds. You can't see all the way across these fields and Florida is the winter destination for millions of migratory birds. A kid with a shotgun wouldn't cut it.
  25. I think the canons are propane powered. All noise, no destruction.
