  1. I've got a couple of ex-wives myself and I'm sure their pet names for me are far worse.
  2. Well, with input from someone that close to you we'll just have to believe you ARE a phucking a$$hole. :-)
  3. I shot a Benjamin pneumatic. 22 as a kid. It was very accurate, fairly lightweight and easy to hunt with out to 25 yards. I now shoot a Diana mod 52 spring piston. It's more powerful and more accurate than the Benjamin was but a lot heavier. I think I paid about $550 for the Diana mod52 20 or so years ago.
  4. Just don't shoot anyone with it. A skull dip job wouldn't bode well in a courtroom.
  5. I've thought about trying it but I'm afraid that whatever I choose will look like a fad past it's expiration date in ten years. I stick with basic black, stainless or nickel, depending on the firearm.
  6. I'm in, but it's gonna be sticky when the next guy gets it. Just sayin.
  7. No, wait for the unobtaniun version.
  8. I heard on the news that this woman suffers from bipolar disorder and her Abilify sent her on this rampage.
  9. I hate IWB. I carry exclusively OWB with the exception of occasional pocket carry.
  10. It's been a long time since I've lusted after a. 30-06. I'm lusting now.
  11. Rainier Arms Raptor ambidextrous charging handle.
  12. I studied architectural drafting and after a two-year fling in Alaska and a stint as a bouncer in a Clinton Tn strip club (I was also a school bus driver in Tn), I got married and got a job as an architectural draftsman. This was long before the days of CAD when drafting was done on a drawing board and was fun. Well, at least it was fun in school where every project was new and exciting. In the real world they stuffed you into a little office where you did the same drawings over and over with slight variations and everything was due yesterday. Not many people retired as draftsmen.
  13. Strange people, very stern and rigid. I know a Swiss who used to visit the U.S. every year on vacation. He spent a lot of time hanging out at the pawn shop, he loved guns and we became friends. His most memorable trait? Damn, he needed a shower. Beat Leisure. (Bee-ought Lie-sir). If you're reading this Beat, I apologise.
  14. It's certainly not a complete list but rather looks like a list of those American manufacturers who chose to pay to be on the list.
  15. No more asbestos - cough cough - Nomex now.
  16. I've heard you need a new one. <lmao>
  17. Just ordered a Ranier Arms Raptor ambidextrous 5.56 charging handle. I read you guys talking about it and decided it's a worthy addition for not a lot of cash. ($85.45)
  18. I've found through the pawn business that any GSM (SIM card) phone can be unlocked.
  19. Slap a cheap laser on that Glock and dry fire practice the crap out of iit. I mean really try to wear it out. Without the noise, recoil and distractions of live fire you'll naturally concentrate on trigger control. You'll soon learn to keep that dot motionless while stroking the trigger. Then take that POS laser off and hit the range. Try to practice at realistic combat distances with combat handguns. Don't expect the family SUV to be competitive at the Daytona 500. Rinse and repeat.
  20. Cool. Does your iphone 5s use a SIM card?
  21. Is the boss picking up the tab on the new phone including monthly service? Will the boss be able to monitor your usage of the new phone? Is this a spying technique? Maybe you should consider keeping your old service in addition to the company phone.
  22. Way to go schmo hawk. At least the bag has "character" now. I've never heard of M1 head before. I used to have a FN FAL and had the forestock resting on a range owned sandbag which had been completely wrapped in silver duck tape. While shooting I didn't notice the rifle forestock had slipped off the bag and the barrel was resting on the bag. I finally noticed this because of the smoke. You know that shiit will melt all thick and silver on your barrel?
  23. Oldie? The photo or you? :-)
  24. I'll bet you had a surprised look on your face. :O Glad you weathered the storm.
