Not too crazy...;) they don't make a 308 version though. Some local guy slapped one on a oracle and it looked like poop. The top rail only made it half way down the rcvr. On a side note...I've never even seen the keymod CASV. Man it's ugly, but maybe a CASV-M will show up cheap somewhere now. I want one for my pistol build!

Tube and stock are fine, but you will need the 308 buffer and spring. The 308 carrier is longer than the 556 and needs the shorter buffer to cycle.

Thought I read the LAR8 uses AR10 threads, but the depth is different. The PRI tube is way overbuilt since it was designed for the high speed folks. It's also pretty old compared to the new lightweights. It's an outdated system, but I still love it.

How about shooting from brush? But hey, if someone bought that "side charging" charging handle....someone will buy this.

At this point, I think the shortage is causing the shortage. People are so paranoid about 22 that they continue to buy it up whenever they see it. Viscous cycle. Didn't happen with the other calibers because it cost more to hoard it. My buddy has been harping on me to buy an air gun. He has a few bad ass bottle fed suppressed rigs that are alot of fun. His setups are all over $1k though.
