Money burns a hole in my pocket,so that got the bug going for something else [the evil brother Greg didn't help either >:D]. But after researching LWRC and LaRue both outstanding products in thier own right for the money and the fact I'm lefthanded the ambi-features on the RRA Standard Operator IMO has the best value for the dollar for me.If anything down the road the Gold trigger and giving thier poly mags a spin,thats it.Have not found any rifle like this with these features anywhere.RRA <thumbsup>

After highschool went straight to the recruiter he said "thanks but no thanks" because of my contracting polio as a kid.Went to the steelmill 3rd generation U.S.Steel So.works started laboring in the blastfurnace,then bricklayer laborer,then payloader operator,then electronic repaireman appertice.Mill folded worked for Xerox service tech at one time was able to troubleshoot down to the component level,got a harley attitude went to poop.Learned how to weld bounced around doing maintanence and fabrication.Waited almost 5 yrs. to be called for Sheetmetal workers completed my apprenticeship.I am an A card journeyman I weld [all processes and positions] burn [gas and plasma],layout [anything],fitup[anything],signal and rigg crane and helicopters,readprints,solve field problems[as in how do we fit 10 lbs. of poop in a 2lb. bag].I have helped build a large portion of Chicago,burbs and with great pride Great Lakes Naval base.With almost 35yrs. in industry 23 as a tinner unable to serve in the military I serve my country by helping build it. 8)

Yea thats what I thought brother Greg,whats a good price for LaRue OBR? Thier site shows $3300.00 aprox. maybe 18" barrel since the fps. is not significant and should still go 1k mark correct? <dontknow> Both use Magpul mags right?

On the last target I posted using poop mil-surlp I made my Lar-8 look bad,the best it's been fed is Remmington power ponits @ 180gr. they grouped better.Good ammo [match grade begets best results].I have very little patience and shoot fast and force accuracy,as opposed to accuracy and forceing speed.One ragged hole is the brass ring.
