Chalk up one more for the good guy - BREAKING NEWS

/\/\/\/\/\/\ YES! And the ransom was NOT paid to the Taliban. Which means that the Taliban crapheads were just RELEASED for goodwill, or whatever. -
Is the 'open carry' movement going too far?

Then you should be old enough to remember when the NRA quashed the member revolt in the 1970s, with many of the current and recent board member crushing the "we demand out 2nd Amendment RIGHTS" movement with Neal Knox at the helm. What we got is a political Washington insider organization, with a typical Washington "You sit down and shutup, we know what's best for you" attitude. The NRA can make all the claims they want but if it hadn't been for the GOA and SAF, the 2nd A would never had made it to the SCOTUS. :soap: Rant off -

The NRA is often times the WORST thing about the 2nd Amendment. Literally for decades they refused to take ANY gun rights cases to court. This led to the Heller vs D.C. case being picked up by GOA and SAF led the NRA to say we were going to lose all our rights...until it started looking promising. Then the NRA wanted to take the case over. Fortunately the coalition said "Kiss off!" -

IMO most politicians could easily be found guilty of treason. Watch the dog-n-pony show and see who the big talkers are now in the mid-terms, who gets to the forefront in 2016, and who gets screwed (hint: not politicos). -
Sweet! If that's the case. Maybe your new boss can swing a meeting.

If that Breitbart article is correct, it was NOT a trade at all. Just more sleight of hand. -
I read that blue and keep coming up with one thing. :thefinger: Frank!

SS I'm sure their crew will play the incompetence "At no time did we know anything" card, this tidbit says otherwise. Bergdahl held by a group NOT associated with the Taliban, which was paid a ransom fee of $$millions...and then a group of completely unrelated Taliban leaders released from Guantanamo. http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-TV/2014/06/03/Oliver-North-I-Know-A-Ransom-5-6-Million-Was-Paid-to-Free-Bergdahl -

And you did know that Brewer signed into law that we can use suppressors while hunting here, couple of years ago, right? -
We had several people come in to get Remingtons or Winchesters, who ended up leaving with a Tikka T3...because of that AWESOMELY crisp trigger! One dude bought one as an emergency, when his Remington went down a week before hunting season. The T3s were on sale. Came back around Christmas with his sons and bought them each one too!

I'm very wary now that ALL the mainstream media is picking this story up. An agenda is afoot...either distraction from something else (the VA debacle?) or to provide fuel for ramming something down our throats. Perhaps "This one case clearly shows that veterans sympathize with those who would destroy our country, therefore we need to suspend all 2nd Amendment rights for this dangerous cross section of society,"? Caution: bastids at work! -
Like pen knives and such...this dude is looking for them on Craigslist: http://www.tickld.com/x/the-best-craiglist-ad-ever-this-man

Those T3 actions are slick as snot! Congrats!

Stores here are still selling bricks for $23 or so. Sportsman's has started telling the hoarders to kiss off.
-
Are they scarce? I stumbled into a "too cheap to pass-up" deal on GG&G QD extended mount. Very good mount, especially at $140.

Not just pistols...whatever tools are in your kit at all times. Knives, tactical pen, flashlight, baton, cane...have as much as you can.

As I mentioned on your FB, it looks like birdshot from the photos. No pellets though? I worked with a veterinarian whose dog was shot at CLOSE range with birdshot. He was able to save the dog. The scars though looked just like these sores healed over. Every once in awhile another pellet would work its way out.

This is what is being stated by various veterans' groups. Something to keep a watch on. https://www.facebook.com/2MillionBikersDC/posts/725490997513749:0 Words from someone on his COP with him... Forwarded from Jeff Howard. "We were at OP Mest, Paktika Province, Afghanistan. It was a small outpost where B Co 1-501st INF (Airbone) ran operations out of, just an Infantry platoon and ANA counterparts there. The place was an Afghan graveyard. Bergdahl had been acting a little strange, telling people he wanted to "walk the earth" and kept a little journal talking about how he was meant for better things. No one thought anything about it. He was a little “out there”. Next morning he's gone. We search everywhere, and can't find him. He left his weapon, his kit, and other sensitive items. He only took some water, a compass and a knife. We find some afghan kids shortly after who saw an American walking north asking about where the Taliban are. We get hits on our voice interceptor that Taliban has him, and we were close. We come to realize that the kid deserted his post, snuck out of camp and sought out Taliban… to join them. We were in a defensive position at OP Mest, where your focus is to keep people out. He knew where the blind spots were to slip out and that's what he did. It was supposed to be a 4-day mission but turned into several months of active searching. Everyone was spun up to find this guy. News outlets all over the country were putting out false information. It was hard to see, especially when we knew the truth about what happened and we lost good men trying to find him. THOSE LOST LOOKING FOR BERGDAHL: PFC Matthew Michael Martinek, Staff Sgt. Kurt Robert Curtiss, SSG Clayton Bowen, PFC Morris Walker, SSG Michael Murphrey, 2LT Darryn Andrews, were all KIA from our unit who died looking for Bergdahl. Many others from various units were wounded or killed while actively looking for Bergdahl. Fighting Increased. IEDs and enemy ambushes increased. The Taliban knew that we were looking for him in high numbers and our movements were predictable. Because of Bergdahl, more men were out in danger, and more attacks on friendly camps and positions were conducted while we were out looking for him. His actions impacted the region more than anyone wants to admit. There is also no way to know what he told the Taliban: Our movements, locations, tactics, weak points on vehicles and other things for the enemy to exploit are just a few possibilities. The Government knows full well that he deserted. It looks bad and is a good propaganda piece for the Taliban. They refuse to acknowledge it. Hell, they even promoted him to Sergeant which makes me sick. I feel for his family who only want their son/brother back. They don’t know the truth, or refuse to acknowledge it as well. What he did affected his family and his whole town back home, who don’t know the truth. Either way what matters is that good men died because of him. He has been lying on all those Taliban videos about everything since his “capture”. If he ever returns, he should be tried under the UCMJ for being a deserter and judged for what he did. Bergdahl is not a hero, he is not a soldier or an Infantryman. He failed his brothers. Now, sons and daughters are growing up without their fathers who died for him and he will have to face that truth someday." PIC of BOWE with TROOPS ~ 2009
