  1. This goes to prove what I just posted in the other thread, about law enforcement manipulating crime statistics to justify switching from revolvers to semi-autos. "Platoons of crazed armed veterans roaming our streets! This is why our SWAT team needs to partake in the 'Abrams for America' program."
  2. That is GREAT!! What's first on your agenda? It's an easier trip from Marana than through the middle of Phoenix. When we going blue?
  3. +10! For consistency on my powder measure, it gets three taps at the top of the arc for powder-in, three taps at the bottom for powder out. Zero variation on weight…so long as the operator is consistent. I see reloading students all the time prove it. They will tap-tap-tap the first few loads, then TAP-TAP, then TAP, then tap. Making sure they weigh each throw, I keep repeating "This is why consistency is so important."
  4. This is a good reminder article, lots of photos! https://www.usconcealedcarry.com/tune-up-your-gun-handling/
  5. I'm digging it! Really like that new rifle rest!
  6. Most of the people my age evoke one of two thoughts usually: Dang! Am I that out of shape? or Whew! Glad I never got involved with meth!
  7. Don't know where Tom is. Have you thought of trying Primary Arms for a red dot?
  8. Great question right there. Get that all the time with students.
  9. That would make kosher salt slugs?
  10. I know it says "fails" but some of these are just purely ingenious fun! http://www.opposingviews.com/i/gallery/society/35-funny-parenting-fails?=popup
  11. And I didn't have any today either. The girl did though, for the first time in a year or so. Coffee and chocolate cereal then off to the next to the last day in the 6th grade! <laughs> :leghump:
  12. Thanks bro. We just switched insurances too. The girl's doctor is the only one of our three on the new insurance…wifey and I need new PCPs. Called yesterday to make a "new patient appointment. Next available one is in August. Looks like it's clinic time!
  13. Haven't been able to get a comfortable full extension to the rear on my right leg for a few weeks. It had been really sore but mellowed out the past week and a half. Yesterday morning, nice wind blowing everything triggered a rapid series of sneezes and... PING!! Say hello to my little friend! Pretty sure it's an iguinal hernia…sure makes normal functions uncomfortable. Gonna try and get it confirmed today.
  14. Whoops! Wrong area!
  15. How I feel today.
  16. From another forum: "I believe the minimum USGI case length for 7.62 is 2.000". The Accurate Arms load guide trims 308 Winchester cases to 1.995". I've seen plenty of people claim to trim down to 2.000" with no issues. There is a crapload of info about "308 minimum case length" if you search for it.
  17. Badassery! http://www.abc15.com/news/local-news/water-cooler/amazing-video-cat-saves-boy-from-dog-attack-in-southwest-bakersfield-051414
  18. Yes!
  19. Good video bro! I'd add that for those of us with twisted and siezed body parts, don't focus on exact position so much as what position works for YOU.
  20. For awhile my brother had a system perfected…spray a bit of aerosol while lighting it at just the right distance, and it would burn the wings off the fly. He called them something like "modified ants".
  21. Saturday, May 17. 4-8 PM. Scottsdale, AZ. HSP headquarters. Bring your friends! I can't make it up there in time.
  22. State mineral rights on it. If your family has land there…deer, javelina, wild hogs, all sorts of small game and game birds.
  23. Lucky they didn't pull that around here.
  24. Another AZ welcome Iggy!
