  16. I've been using a synthetic gun oil called G96...the aerosol. You wouldn't think gun rust in AZ is an issue but it is, especially if you are sweating on it or when the monsoon humidity goes from 2% up to 50% in a day. My friend introduced me to G96. He started using it in Florida. Said he would pack up guns for the range and, even if he didn't shoot them, by the time he got home they would've started to get surface rust. He started with the G96, followed the instructions on the can, hasn't had rusting issues since. Me either. Jon

  18. http://shuffsparkerizing.com "The Schuster adjustable gas block ensures you can shoot whatever type of .30-06 ammo you want, without having to worry about damaging the op-rod." Wait...maybe I should've posted this in the "98 Needs This". Jon

  21. If you look at the parts diagram for the LAR-8 on RRA's website, they list what others call the buffer tube as a "receiver extension": http://www.rockriverarms.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_id=508 Jon
  22. The answer is very simple Tom. When you buy that matched set you will be the only one who has one.<<<<<period Do IT!! Jon
