Done. I tried to keep it short and to the point. Not sure how you guys worded yours, but this is what I told them. And don't come off saying that I wasn't being forward enough. <laughs> You know how these bureaucrats are....if you come off screaming they'll just hit the delete button. And I quote: I am writing this to let you become aware of the fact that I don't agree with what is happening to our 2nd Amendment rights. Either in our country as a whole, or in our state of Maryland. With this being one of the original 13 "states of the colonies", we should be even more aware of what our 2nd Amendment rights mean to us as individuals. Our founders of this great country didn't simply add the 2nd Amendment to the bill of rights because they thought that it was a good idea at the time. They did it to protect all of our freedom...from that day and moving forward. They did it so that we could defend ourselves, or our families from anybody who would tread upon us with violent intent. They did it so that, We The People, could help defend this country if, for some horrific reason, that's what it came down to. The fact that Senator Diane Feinstein wants to push through legislation that will take those rights away from us upstanding, law-abiding citizens, is unacceptable. No congressional representative that votes with, or agrees with Senator Diane Feinstein, will get my vote when it comes time for their re-election. Ron Reed Prince Georges County, Maryland
