  1. We've had numerous cougars spotted around my house, I live 20-30 minutes north of the IL/wi boarder, between Madison and Rockford. one came outta a guys barn when he opened the door. I ain't talking horny broads in their 40's either!!
  2. Your talking and the piece to feed the stripper into the mag/ strips the ammo off the stripper. Someone on here knows where to get them we were talking about them a few months back.....
  3. You put a hollow point in someone femur and they're going down I've watch a few friends break them, not a good fecking time, and the artery on the inside of the leg don't need much to bleed
  4. I changed mine for two reasons, I thought the quad rail was cool when I bought it, but I ended up not liking it. It's bulky IMO and it gets snagged up in my hunting cloths, also I realized how heavy the gun was after I bought it and wanted to lighten it up. It really wasn't any trouble per-say but by buying the new hand guard I got a look I wanted shaved off some weight and bulk and eliminated 3 rails I really wasn't using. Also I can now ditch the quick release sling post I was using because the rail has 3-4 drilled holes to accept a sling at
  5. Yes the MWI one comes with a nut and a wrench that goes on a torque wrench it's more of a sleeve then a nut lol
  6. I bet the end it's threaded I put mine in the bench vice block, removed the gas block and flash hider, wrapped the grip in electrical tape (so I wouldn't mar it up) and spun it off with a strap wrench. Think the quad rail helped a lot in getting grip with the wrench. I read else where guys used pipe wrenches and wrapped the "teeth" in tape What's the diameter of the grip I bet it uses the same barrel nut mine does and that's where all the dam weight was
  7. Gnat, did you check in their parts section some have the weight listed on them, the brunt of the weight came from the barrel nut, also that's unloaded weight figure another 1.5-2 pounds
  8. Sprite it still feels good
  9. Ok I'm an idiot lol, I put it all back together and forgot to put the bcg and the charging handle back in.......... So I gained a pound back. Still 10.5 is a lot better than 11.7
  10. Think it was mostly in the barrel nut
  11. Went and bought a bench vise finally and replaced my fore grip tonight. Took off the DPMS quad rail and installed a MWI 12" SS-key mod ultra light gaurd, packaging says it weighs in at 12.4oz with barrel nut, I took off 2 pounds roughly.
  12. I've heard that before too somewhere
  13. I was told an emperor or someone in the 30's/40's had one. Idk I'd this is true but I saw a lot of black buicks in Shanghai and they stick out like a sore dick amoung all the vw's and scooters
  14. A lot of junkies, tweekers and drugs
  15. The Chinese are what kept Buick afloat and from taking the path of Pontiac and saturn. The Buick is a status symbol In china like a Benz or even Bentley is here. I saw a few Buick dealer ships in Shanghai while families will go in on buying one, mom dad and grown children all because a person of power had one
  16. Interesting!
  17. From my understanding southern wi hasn't got a big meth problem, heroin is HUGE here the bigger city I live outside of has had 3-4 major heroin busts in the past year or so they say it makes for a good trafficking city due to it being on I90 and 30 min from Rockford Il or Madison wi, 2 hours from Chicago, hour and a half from Milwaukee. The scanner is going off nightly in rock county with heroin OD's I lost a very close family member and have a cousin who is a thieving junkie. Think the biggest thing is everyone here turns a blind eye or is unaware of it's presants OD's get printed as died unexpectedly. I understand these types of vehicles have there place but it don't seem very cost effective honestly couldn't you do the same thing with a hummer?? Not sure what ones costs but it's gotta be a hell of a lot cheaper then that fornicate'n thing?? Especially to be used maybe once a year??? Maybe! Think it's alittle over kill. And if a labs on fire I'm guessing they don't know it's a lab how's that going to save anyone? And if it's a known lab why in hell would you go in there?!?

This stuff is called blue star (I think) and it claims right on the label to do so I use it in all my small engine gas mostly as a preservative

    Vapor trails

We have ethanol here 365 used to only be in 87 octane it's now working it's way into 93, I try getting ethinol free in all my small engines also use an aditive to combat ethinol and preserves the life of the gas
  21. Daymn wash!!!!! I really like Nikon (don't tell my camera friends that lol). Anyways I've got a 3x9-50 prostaff on my 30-06 think I'm going to move that to the .308 I don't like the vortex that I've got on it. Probably put this on on the new bolt gun if I ever can figure out what I want
