 We pulled off a win today and I'll take it. I think were missing 7 starters on defence because of injuries when we started today way to go chiefs. Now we play New England, hope some people get healthy quick.

One of the guy's that went with us had a double barrel that malfunctioned (both fired at once) so he switch to this police style pump shotgun sucker was short and did pretty decent with it given how short it was. I know he could of done better if he would of used one of the others guns we were using. He ended up with 17 out of 50 and was second best score. Tells you how experienced we our at this :hunter: Did see what looked to some nice guns up there but I couldn't tell you if they were high dollar or not, don't know that much about shotguns other than there fun to shoot. No snobs on this day it seemed that a lot of the shooters were practicing for wing shooting I know dove is already open don't know when duck and goose starts. I'll just keep my 390 I got for $300.00 from my brother who was needing money at the time. Next time I go I'll try to get some pics or video to upload.

Well guy's that was something I never knew <dontknow> Always thought everybody just used a semi auto or double barrel shotguns and maybe have the stock fitted to you if you going to get serious.

Sorry you didn't score one Shepp but it sounds like a great time. The black bear numbers here in Missouri are on the way up but will be a while before they have a season for them.

Went to the range Saturday and shot a game of skeet & trap with some friends and I tell ya thats was some entertainment. I only scored 10 clays on skeet and 15 on trap so only 25 out of 50 not to bad for me. I'm going to work this into my shooting schedule more often. :hunter: Oh by the way my gun is a Beretta AL390 love to shoot this thing.

When I was in school we use keep shotguns and .22's and deer rifles in our vehicles on school property. Never a word about how evil it was and the cops were never called or the schools put on lockdown over it let alone an actual shooting at a school. Times have changed and we have to change with them by letting our teachers practice a constitutional right of self defence its the only way I can see this outcome with school budgets being strained as it is. Hiring security is another but like I said the money is going to have to come from somewhere and my taxes are high enough a teacher is already on the payroll so for the price of training you get an armed trained citizen that can respond to an active shooter thats alright with me because thats what we used to do in this country before the liberals took over. WATCH OUT FOR EACH OTHER AND HELP IF YOU CAN.

Well we looked better than last week but the injury bug sure has got hold of the Chiefs this year. Hope they can overcome the situation and start winning 0-2 kinda sucks even this early in the season.

As I growing up I got beat on to point that my mom would put makeup on me to cover my bruises. This was excessive but sometimes I needed a beating others times I didn't. This made it a little harder for me as a parent because I didn't want to be like my mom. I did spank my kids but it was on the butt with my open hand, no switch or board or belt. The amount of spankings they both had I can count on one hand. I may have been to lenient on them but only time will tell. The main thing that help me in raising my own was a good relationship with my Lord Jesus Christ. Now back to football: We play the horse heads today at Den. not looking good for us but I have hope because the game is not on yet ::)

Well we finally bypassed some of Nixon's (D) crap with a few vetoes: SCHOOL PROTECTION OFFICERS - 160.665, 571.107, 590.010 to 590.207 This act allows a school district to designate one or more school teachers or administrators as a school protection officer. School protection officers are authorized to carry a concealed firearm or self-defense spray device. This act requires a school board that is seeking to designate a school protection officer to hold a public hearing on the matter. Notice of the hearing must be provided by publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the city or county in which the school district is located at least 15 days before the hearing. The board may meet in a closed meeting to determine whether to allow the school protection officer to carry a concealed firearm or self-defense spray device. The officer must keep the firearm or device under his or her personal control at all times while on school property. Violation of this provision is a Class B misdemeanor and may result in the immediate removal of the officer from the classroom and the commencement of employment termination proceedings. School protection officers have the same power to detain and arrest as any other person would have under current law regarding defense of persons and property. Upon detention, the protection officer must immediately notify school administrators and school resource officers. If the person detained is a student, then the parents of the student must also be immediately notified. Those seeking to be designated as school protection officers must make a request in writing to the superintendent of the school district along with proof of ownership of a valid concealed carry endorsement or permit, if the person is seeking to carry a firearm, and a certificate of completion of a school protection officer training program. The school district must notify the director of the Department of Public Safety of the designation of any school protection officer. The department must make a list of all school protection officers available to all law enforcement agencies. This act requires the Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission to establish standards and curriculum for training of school protection officers. The director of the Department of Public Safety must develop, and make available to all school districts, a list of approved school protection officer training instructors, centers, and programs. In order to attend a school protection officer training program, a person must submit to a criminal history background check and, if the person will carry a firearm, prove he or she has a valid concealed carry endorsement or permit. This provision is similar to a provision of SS/SCS/HB 1539 (2014), the perfected SS/SCS/SB 613, CCS2/SS/SCS/HCS/HB 1439 (2014), SB 603 (2014), SB 744 (2014), HB 1474 (2014), HB 436 (2013), and SB 352 (2013).
