I love hunting with my LR308 it is a gun that makes the most sense to carry no wood to swell up and crack , impervious to the weather and with all the sling options it is easy to carry and I took a elk with mine this year and a wolf or two is in the works .... AR's are the next generation of hunting guns. I use Barnes Vor-TX bullets 150.. they always work good.

Ok I am dense But I got it ... the stock is what determines the spring and buffer not the upper I was confused by all the buffer switching going on with Ar10's trying to get them to cycle correctly I will swap them out today and shoot them thanks

Ok so if I put the m4 on the A2 stock i don't think a rifle lenght buffer would work with the M4 upper or visa vera am i correct or am i having a Doh! moment?

Ok I have two rifles 1 is a carbine length gas system with collapsible stock the other is a A2 with A2 stock and 20 inch barrel rifle length gas system so if i wanted to switch the uppers i would just switch out the buffers and springs as well?

It is without a doubt the most poorly written thing about guns I have ever seen surly this woman can not be expect this to be taken seriously. In her world only leo's and retired leo's of both local and federal should have assault weapons, and we should have just old single shot rifles and bolt actions, LMAO what a ignorant woman she has no idea what the second amendment is about and she does not care . 100% agree and you must read the entire frankenstien gun bill to fully undrerstand how such a poorly written bill could even exist. yes they do I can not have a verizon, or whatever company e-mail address it is impossible as we do not have any big internet providers so i have a Gmail address and have had one since it came out and for that i can not join that forum what a crock of crap if they do not have better anti spam programs in place then they are pretty weak in my eyes.. when normal people can not join a sight because they live in a place with no major internet then something is wrong!
