  1. Wow!!!!!
  2. I agree with you . I know that they are out there. We need to get them treatment, we need to limit their interaction with the general public and we need to keep them away from firearms. I don't try to change people's mind on this issue because either people have experience with this issue or they don't.
  3. Exactly. A lot of people think a 72 hour evaluation is a one way ticket to unarmedsville...but it ain't.
  4. 175rdf and 178 eld-m... these two are my go to bullets for reloading. I have a few Berger selections we can discuss if you want to push them out of a bolt gun. I find that the 175 RDF and 178 ELD are more jump tolerant and imho... that makes them a better choice for semi autos and our limited c.o.a.l.
  5. Brian knows his stuff. I will say that from mine and several other that are running the same set up, the 1/8 works great with about anything we throw down the barrel. I will say that where I have seen the most improvement (and I am no scientist) is the 168smk as it starts to make the transition. The POI tracks the ballistic calculator a little more consistently than with 1/12, 1/11.25, 1/10. I like the 185 Juggernaut and it is a fine round. In fact I have a 28 inch bolt that milks a lot of performance out of it. I mean it shines. However out of my 16 inch weapons, it is difficult to find a temp insensitive powder that will push them at a high enough velocity that make me want to use them over the 175 RDF or the 178ELD-M.
  6. True. They are a top Tier Custom Barrel makers. I rarely recommend custom barrels because of all the great drop ins out there. However, if you are at the point that your training has exposed and itch that a 1/8 needs to scratch, you are a candidate for custom barrel. One simple man's opinion.
  7. Craddock Precision.
  8. 16 inch medium Palma. It does great with 168smk, 178 eldm, 175smk, 175 Berger, 185OTM (but it is difficult to get the velocity up with 185s) I haven't tried 155s. I think you will like it. it performs well
  9. I run a 1:8 in a bolt gun .308 and love it. I am sorry I'm late to the party.
  10. News is reporting he was a prohibited person. Apparently, he was dishonorably discharged from USAF. It is the news so who knows.
  11. Barrel life of 6MM Creedmoor is 1400. Barrel life on 6.5 Creedmoor is 2900 These are on Bolt Guns. So with the way most people shoot gas guns I would shave off a couple hundred. This is my personal experience, but it mimics that of other shooters that compete.
  12. You guys know me too well. Glocks have been very faithful even when I have not. I have had many mistresses, Ms. Sig, Ms. H&K, Mrs. Beretta, Mr. XD (it was a phase...call it experimentation). and a Saucy little hussy Springfield 1911 (some of you know the one I am talking about) There have been others, but mainly in the form of one night (year) stands. But the Glock, bless her heart, has never let me down. I am forever hers.
  13. Yeah, it's called the Glock Gen 5.
  14. I make a habit never to order from any company with delta, specops, operator, tier I, or any other uber cool guy terms in their business name. Been burned too many times.
  15. You can't trust a skunk. I have tried my hand at negotiation and appeasement and all efforts were failures. My pro tip of the day: Don't shoot it near your home, car, or anything you frequent.
  16. Yeah, man. Lots of whitetail have been put down with .223/5.56. Those TSX are gtg.
  17. Also, can you give us a side view pic of that fired brass?
  18. Yes...I agree with that You may have some spring/buffer/extention mix up going on. Like 98, I haven't seen brass mangled like since...ever. Well unless I drive over it leaving the range.
  19. While you are looking that up, do you have any pics of the brass you could share?
  20. I wish this new cartridge well. This, along with the 22 Nosler and the adrenaline shot the 6.5 Grendel seems to be getting, is a good thing. I have come to temper my expectations. Whether is be brass that won't hold up, magazines that don't feed, extraction issues, crappy barrel life or lack luster muzzle velocity (I'm looking at you Grendel), I keep coming back to the .308 and 6.5CM to meet my long range needs in the semi-auto platform. I will likely try to this one out once the newness has subsided.
  21. https://ichef-1.bbci.co.uk/news/660/media/images/73843000/jpg/_73843165_73843164.jpg Real hot MILF pic...just click on the link.
  22. Don't forget about MILF.
  23. Exactly what he said. Some will engage, some won't. I like it for decoration on my DPMS, but when something needs to be forwardly assisted....my thumb gets the job.
  24. I am like a DD. I am chunky around the barrel nut area.
  25. I give this a thumbs up
