  1. Which brand barrel are you running on your 308ar?
  2. My goodness that boy is handsome. Well done, sir.
  3. Looking to sell my .308 18 inch Rainier Select. I have run about 400 rounds through this barrel. It loves 168 SMK and 175 SMK. It shoots 155gr A-MAX well, too. I have only run factory ammo through this barrel. I am asking $175 shipped to your door (CONUS). I prefer Paypal and if you don't prefer gift, then I will split fees with you. I have got more pics if interested.
  4. Excellent Choice!
  5. Señor, you will thank me for years to come.
  6. It's either the Port or the Cigar.....
  7. Im hammered. :happydrunks: I will add with my booz soaked fingers that quality barrels+quality ammo+quality shooter=quality results. When a shooter gets to the point he is analyzing barrel harmonics to milk that last bit of accuracy out of his uber custom barrel, he will be on here teaching us.
  8. I have BHW and Rainier Select Barrels (BHW) and they are all very good barrels. You will not be disappointed. If you are, Rainier will make it right.
  9. I can efile one tonight as a test case.
  10. That was a good find.
  11. The limited experience I have had with flat plates (it was all that was available) was enough for me to never want to use them again
  12. https://www.diamondbacktactical.com/store/plate_carriers/ http://lbtinc.com/vest-h-gear-carriers/plate-carriers/modular-plate-carrier-c.html These are two robust units. I have much more time in the first one than the second one. As far as being a Pay once-cry once, piece of gear.....I don't think so. I have worked with guys who went much cheaper and they don't seem to lose anything by going less expensive. Most reasonably build carriers will last a while, but they are a wearable item and do show wear (holes wear, molle rips, hook and loop less "hooky" etc). The ability to keep your plates from flopping around (solidly build velco straps inside to secure them) will definitely extend the life of the carrier.
  13. I bet their drapes match the carpet too. It must be nice to be rich.
  14. I have bought from Grab A Gun.
  15. You go directly to hell.
  16. It was touched on in the second post.
  17. I know of a couple of guys who purchased the parts and converted their LEM to V1. It wasn't described as an overly difficult task.
  18. Not to be an enabler or anything, but the Timney 510 and 517 are pretty dang awesome...plus...no need to be without your rifle.. http://www.timneytriggers.com/shop/timney-remington-700-replacement-trigger.aspx If you buy direct, they will set it however you want it.....
  19. Yes. You should get a bore guide, coated rod (Dewey is my fav), a jag, and brass brush. I know some prefer the softer or synthetic, but I like those and I figure that if the piece of copper being hurled down the barrel doesn't ruin the lands and grooves, then the brass brush won't either......lol. I know it's flawed thinking....don't judge me :-)
  20. 200 bucks????? That's 197 bucks too much.
  21. You, sir...are out of line......and your fantasy video, too.

If you are going to stay in the shooting game any length of time, you are going to need a torque wrench that does inch lbs.
  23. Buy two angle finders. One for scope. One for gun. http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=starrett+angle+meter&tag=googhydr-20&index=aps&hvadid=31614795517&hvpos=1t1&hvexid=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=15100379430519947791&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=e&hvdev=t&ref=pd_sl_4f79v61g8r_e Double check with plum bob.
