  1. Uh oh....This sounds unique.
  2. Fugg the slingshot....I want that shirt.
  3. Sir, you have obviously never heard Little Wing, Voodoo Child, All along the Watchtower, Bold as Love.........If 6 was 9. That stuff is good working on the car music.....and I have NEVER used any drug...other than Beer Wine and Liquor in all my life.
  4. People have lost their sense of humor.
  5. I like it. I have grown tired of the round style handguards, personally. In fact, I am about to sell my MI SS Gen1 15 inch just for that reason alone. This could be the answer I was looking for.
  6. I don't lose sleep at night wondering what the rest of the world thinks of anything in this country. As Micro reminded us of the old 308ar proverb...."in the neck" with all of them. Save for Russia, China, and the United States, the rest of the world couldn't build a worthy of enough army to fight off a good cold, let alone impose their will on another continent. Yes, I believe the United States is superior to the rest of the countries on earth.
  7. This is correct. Your barrel stamp will suffice on non-NFA items.
  8. P220....What's not to love.....? I agree 100% the newer 9mm ammo demands a lot of respect.
  9. None of them are. Humans aren't as easy to remove from this earth as Hollywood would like us to believe. Exsanguination is the typical cause of death from being shot so theory being that bigger holes equals faster and more voluminous blood loss......but that is an over simplification. The human body is a complex system and is extremely resilient. There is a lot of data on the .40 caliber out there and for the most part, the stats mimic the 9mm. There are many theories for this and one big one reason is the advancement and prevalence of Level I and Level II Trauma Centers in the United States in the past 20 years.
  10. I am guessing the Levant.
  11. Which may very well be the case, but depending on the percentage of perforation or collapse, you may still have a bad mofo to contend with. Your best bet is to create as many large vent holes as you can where there is some plumbing.
  12. While I agree with you about shooting well......I can say that of the people that I have seen shot, heard about being shot, or talked to the cute nurses (and ugly ones) in our Level I and Level II trauma centers about being shot, the person with the smaller wound channels fairs much better than the one with the larger ones. However, to your point. There are a lot of dead people who got that way with the help of a .22lr.
  13. Yes you can...............get an AMEN.
  14. Go to your VA's Community Living Center and visit with those guys tomorrow. ..at least with the few that are still blessed with. I plan on it.
  15. I don't think they sold anyone out. I think they were trying to appeal to a larger crowd. If you think we can continue to stave off the anti-2A crowd without an increase in membership and support, then you are incorrect. Whether we like it or not, a overwhelmingly large portion of this country isn't down with people strapped with rifles going to restaurants and shopping centers. I don't like it, but that is where we live.
  16. I guess that ended logical discourse.
  17. I support NRA, GOA, and Georgia Carry..as well as a few others single issue firearms groups. I support them know that this issue is a highly political issue (whether we like it or not..it is) and that if these organizations are to be successful in Washington, they have got to play the same political games as the Anti-2A groups do.
  18. This is the correct answer.
  19. <lmao> You seem unsure.
  20. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required-KJV Don't lose free gear if you want more free gear-ST
  21. I agree with you, but there is no amount of Wag the Dog that is going to make this VA mess go away. The more they peel this onion the stronger the smell gets. I think it is just getting started. I hope it stays on the forefront...not to embarrass or shame the administration, but to force them to fix it. Blue is right. This is backfiring big time.
  22. Tikka T3.......very nice. Are those East Texas deer you will be killing?
  23. If you are just shooting and running drills, you likely will never have an issue. As many of you know, its what you are doing when you aren't shooting that kills slings. I am still running the sling on my MP5 and will keep everyone posted on the performance. It may be stronger than I am giving it credit for. Blue and blksheep nailed it. Two lines and two different price points make sense. Just Luke Grip-pod with their mil and le versions.
  24. Based on your other thread, I would say GDI is overkill (and over budget) for what you described your use to be. So as 98Z5V stated you will not be disappointed with the performance to cost ratio going with Bobro. Additionally they mount/clamp top to bottom not side to side like LaRue and ADM, which IMO opinion is superior.
