  1. This thing is miles away from the Specter DR, which is better suited for AR platform. Not a bad price, just understand what you are getting.
  2. Eotechs work. Aimpoints work good. TA01ECOS work better. Elcan Specter works best. That is opinion of one individual. I am still partial to the TA01ECOS for most applications even though most people balk and the differing cheek (chin) welds.
  3. LOL....you don't know the half of it..........
  4. It would be nice if the mobile appearance was improved.
  5. The video is StainTrain approved.......
  6. Adco got my barrel back to me today. I already mounted her up. I am happy with their service and quality of work. I had to use another upper receiver, there was a lot of play in the index pin area.
  7. In all seriousness, if you can SBR, then you should SBR. I like my AR pistols, but LOVE my SBR. It is the only tax that I truly enjoy paying.
  8. They don't sell Glocks in your part of the country???
  9. Leupold Mark 6 3-18 with H59 if you got the cash. :-) I run the Vortex 5-15 with Mil-Dot reticle (Midway Special) on mine and the only reason I am thinking about getting rid of that scope is to purchase a Mark 6.
  10. I love mine. You will enjoy it.
  11. link or coupon code
  12. Too much as in too high and too far forward. The answer to your other question lies in A. The type of scope. B. The barrel profile. C. Specific manufactures ring height.
  13. *depending on the bobro you are running that is.
  14. Sounds a little high with the Bobro. If you have money to burn, then I recommend the Badger Ordnance set up.
  15. Cali, I ask this a lot....What are you going to be doing with this bolt gun? If it is just going to be at the range doing sleepy time shooting (prone), and you will be static, you can get by with some pretty budget oriented items (I don't recommend them, but you can make them work) If you are going to hump, compete, run, skull drag, etc, then your gear selection for the bolt is more crucial. Right now, I recommend a good aluminum rail and rings that fits your budget. Make sure it mates to your surfaces and you are good to go. If you are going to be moving and abusing this rifle, then the answer and price point is going to change.
  16. LaRue makes great products and he stands behind his stuff 100%. Granted his personality is unique, but that's not what I put in my cart when I purchase.
  17. I saw the targets. But based on how accuracy is measured in the shooting world those aren't adequate enough to prove that is a .20 rifle. There seems to be a misunderstanding on how to measure MOA for accuracy testing. Based on the BC of the majority of 6.8 SPC bullets, and the performance I have seen, I don't know that there are many .20 ones out there. The rounds you are shooting are high BC for the 6.8. DPMS have some good barrels floating around out there, there is no denying that. .5 or less for 10 rounds? I would hold on to that rifle.
  18. I would guess it will turn out .90 to 1.25 on 5 and and 2.25 to 2.50 on the 10. That's based on those shots, equipment and figures pulled right out of my rear. But I bet I am close. ::)
  19. Two round groups are not sufficient to make claims of .18 MOA. Typcially, 3, 5, and 10 round groups are your MOA standards. Most around here have settled on 5 round groups. Therefore, IME these are not legitimate .18 MOA groups. Sharp rifle though.
  20. I can't believe I am saying this, but....you should pass. You are going to be cutting it close depending on the shape of your face. Go buy a couple of boxes of 77gr OTM and shoot some distance.
  21. Sleep is rare. I keep one eye on my fridge.
  22. LOL, the fine print should read...."provided you are the size of a wire spindle. Otherwise, I will have to walk it in"
  23. Did you mean to post this in the sub-sonic .308 thread?
  24. This is accurate. I can't think of a scenario where subsonic .308 would shine in an LE Scenario.
