  3. Very Sad. He was a very witty and funny guy. I am going to miss him and his humor around this place. Prayers sent to the family.
  4. Because they have an appropriated budget with your tax money........
  5. You will still have all that, but if you want to open up account, then you will need to unfreeze it and that will take a couple of days. If you have already have a credit card then you are covered by those consumer protections. Your .gov travel card will remain unaffected and your credit information will be accessible for your re-investigation since that will not be obtained commercially. The freezing prevents anything new from going through.
  6. I recommend looking into freezing your credit. It is almost foolproof whereas lifelock and other protection services aren't. I got hit with the BCBS hack and now this.
  7. It already happens. It is a 72 hour evaluation. All states have the mechanism in one form or another. While I see the concern over thought crime and abuses, there is a distinction between thought crime and someone who is having a psychiatric episode, a severely altered state of reality or mental disturbance. As far as abuse by the state, that is why the 72 hour limitation is placed on the evaluation. Sometimes the involuntary evaluation is the only solution since the individual is expressing the desire to hurt themselves or someone else, but there is no crime that has been committed. It should be noted that hospitals and family members seek and obtain these involuntary evaluations at an exponentially higher rate than Law Enforcement.
  8. If the news is accurate, Roof's friends can expect some scrutiny.
  9. Being critical of government and having health dose of skepticism of their actions is Patriotic. History shows us that unchecked government power that does not serve the people has horrible consequences. That being said, Cali's allegation that some shadowy Govt agency is clandestinely producing Raymond Shaws is only productive when making Hollywood Movies.
  10. Which Government Agency is responsible for this dastardly deed in your scenario?
  11. <lmao> I grew up in the backwoods and if a person walked into the local parts store or drug store with a long arm somebody would have kicked them in the nuts and made them leave...... It just ain't good manners.

  18. If you want more, all you need to do is ask.... Turning you on has proven to be a challenge.
  19. With my luck, the notification haunting me up there is from Faxon saying I won the weekly barrel give away and you must respond in 24 hours.
