  1. Thank you! Never been hit that hard in my life by anything.
  2. Actually incorporating an FFL into it would not be such a bad idea, except for the hit the LGS’s would take. Still allow non semiautomatic rifles and shotguns to be purchased by any one. And require a preapproved federal firearm license card for everything else. The liberals might shut up then.
  3. You would kick my butt. That was over 50 years ago. That was from a left hook in my first match against a left hander. In the heat of the match I forgot my Coach’s advice: “ Don’t circle to the right against a southpaw”. BAM!! It actually knocked me out on my feet. The next thing I remember was sitting on the bench in the corner, and my coach yelling at me. Turns out I fought the last thirty seconds of the round and walked to my corner. Don’t remember it to this day. Fought one more round and lost deservedly by a unanimous decision. I am sure I had a concussion. Had a headache for three days, and the right side of my face was black and blue. Right eye went to schit shortly thereafter. Twenty years later my Optomologist started asking me if I had ever had any heavy blows to my right eye, and we connected the dots. Armed Eye Doc might have seen this before. Guy who beat me went on to have some success in the Maine Corps as a boxer. That match told me I had reached the limits of my abilities as a pugilist. My coach agreed and understood. Ten years later he gave me advice on starting up a boxing program at a Boys Club. He was a Puerto Rican and a great guy. I admired him and was scared of him at the same time.
  4. Not by me. I think it could solve one of the most divisive issues in our country. .
  5. Need one bad. I have a distortion in my shooting eye from a punch in Golden Gloves days that causes me to shoot to a point of impact 3-6 inches to the left of the bullseye at 10 yards with almost all fixed sight pistols. I compensate, but adjusting them makes more sense.
  6. Need a National Firearms license that includes Class III.
  7. No but good article. Did not realize KAC is out of Vero Beach. The UDT Seal Museum is right down the road in Fort Pierce as well.

  9. A Good general overview.
  10. Gives me a shred of hope for this country.??
  11. Pork or or venison?
  12. Had a 99 Ford F150 rust out up here, so I think it is where you live as well. But agree that older Rams were rust buckets.
  13. I have a distant relative who was Chief Mate in the engine room of the Arizona. May he rest in Peace.

    Check This out.

    Just found this. Tempting. https://www.sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore.com/products2.cfm/ID/208509?utm_source=120718-2&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=120718-2
  15. Next gen Rams -2018 switched to aluminum in a lot of the rust areas to reduce weight and rust. See if it helps. My Ram is going to be spending far less time in high salt areas, so we will see. So far three years and no rust. Love how it rides.
  16. Liked it so much I picked one up for my S&W Shield 9mm
  17. I have a Cannon manual combo I bought in 1995. Still my favorite safe. Also, be sure you bolt them down into concrete. With a good dolly, I can move a 600 pound safe by myself. I have done it.
  18. It’s gonna happen but not in a way anyone can predict.
  19. I have two Phillipine made 1911’s by Iver Johnson. Both are well made and reliable. If Armscor is as good, which I assume they would be, makes sense.
  20. Welcome Alan.

    Grilling

Don’t know why, but I got the urge to grill some hot dogs.
  22. Good question. Liberty safes keep showing up as highly rated. Mesa’s are highly rated but pricey. I just ordered a Liberty safe from Tractor Supply, but refused delivery because of extensive damage it came with. To their credit, Tractor Supply immediately refunded my money.
  23. On those, if someone tries to drill out the key hole, the combination immediately free spools. Makes it tough for a burgler to get in as they can’t “crack” the combination.
  24. Black is the only way to drink it!
