  2. Which has the wider cheekpiece? It's hard to tell from that photo.
  3. It might be made by Black Hole Weaponry, not sure.
  4. Check it: http://si-defense.com/shop/ar308-ar10-parts-accessories/308-rifle-length-gas-16-110-twist/
  5. Thanks! Here they are:
  6. Having trouble posting the images. I'm not super tech savvy. Is there a post that walks you through the tools to do that on this forum? Thanks
  7. So, in other words, an Armalite AR-10A that accepts DR-25 PMAGS is essentially a DPMS-Pattern rifle? Or, are there other Armalite-specific components to it as well?
  8. Sorry, wasn't aware of the images rule. I'll get some posted. FYI, it looks exactly like the picture.
  9. Here it is: http://www.gunsandammo.com/first-look/watch-for-new-armalite/
  10. I could have sworn the pics I saw had them using 25 round PMAGS. Does Magpul make Armalite specific mags?
  11. SI-Defense Billet 7075-T6 .308 Lower http://si-defense.com/product/si-defense-308-lower/ .308 / 7.62x51 Bay Area $295 + shipping This is an new-unused high quality billet stripped lower receiver for an AR-pattern rifle to be chambered in .308 / 7.62x51 or similar sized cartridge. 12. Anyone have any more info on the upcoming new offerings by Armalite? I hear they have 25 new platforms coming out for 2015, Keymod, Raptor CH, Cerakote, Ambi, Luth-AR stocks, Adj Gas blocks & Brakes, the works!
  13. Looking at the image, I don't see how that will work. Curious to see what they come up with an if it will still benefit form the "enhanced" concept.
  14. Does this enhanced upper only work with their rails or can it be used with Apex / MI / Fortis handguards too?
  15. briflemn762 - I'm with you. It was a nice little comparison, but far from and engineered academic study.
  16. Just thought there might be something to it based on the popularity of that brand and style with PRS competitors: http://precisionrifleblog.com/2014/01/18/best-muzzle-brake-and-rifle-suppressor/
  17. Add this to the test list: http://shop.jeccustom.com/AR-Compensator-JEC-AR556.htm http://precisionrifleblog.com/2014/01/18/best-muzzle-brake-and-rifle-suppressor/
  18. "In the meantime, ol' Jerry has passed a bill to allow judges to take your guns...not good. " "NOT GOOD" ?????? Eliminating Due Process is practically a nail in coffin that is all too quickly lacerating the veil concealing the notion that California is a state in concert with the laws, tenants, principles, and rights that the "United" States were founded upon. This is possibly the most frightening law law to be signed thus far. One step further from freedom "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety" B.Franklin (I know the original intent of this quote, yet it is equally as powerful a statement in this arena as well)
  19. I don't think anyone will be joining the GII pattern anytime soon. I think it would be a patent infringement at this point. The SR-25/DPMS pattern still leads the way with parts, accessories and availability in the after market - yet, still a far cry from standardization or mil-spec. Armalite is a close second. Hopefully, they will do a better job than PSA. Their products are held in high regard, so I think we might see some quality from them.

  21. Good to know, AdamO! Please post pics and range report when you are finished!
  22. I was concerned about that....so I called Aero Precision to contrast their new forged receivers. They said their are completely DPMS compatible, thought the pivot pin may be a little short. They sell a pivot pin that will fit for $8. Other than that, all DPMS parts work, and it used the higher rail height. That would make a true matched forged set of stripped receivers $328 with the pivot pin from AP.
  23. D.R.D.

    Which Geissele?

Great - good to know, thanks!
  24. Robocop, Are you talking about the MI FF SS Gen2 handguards?
  25. "My personal opinion on optics is..... Does your wife have access to guns?" LOL!
