I was sitting here laughing my ass off at that and my 12 yo son came over - he did NOT find it quite as funny as I did but he's a LOT more into the whole thing than I am... He's gonna try and get me for laughing later I'm sure...lol

Tough day for the Pats indeed. I'll give it to Denver though. They ran the game.
-
The Pats faltered a bit there but hopefully getting back on track. Gronk is back in and once Edelman get's better, we should be well on our way back to the big one. We'll see how it all plays out but hopes are definitely high.

Only a few guys in the North East will get this one

Olneyville New York System is the original and still the best. The Mrs and I take the boys about once every other month. I took my wife there as a surprise when we were first dating after she mentioned her grandfather used to bring her there and we made it a regular thing after that. I wouldn't go claiming they are the most nutritious things you'll ever eat but man do they hit the spot. Anyone visiting should also know that if you leave a tip of $10 or more, they'll ring the bell and all throw out a thank you. It's a small hole in the wall kinda joint and they don't get many decent tips so if you go, take good care of the guys behind the counter and they'll treat you and the family like gold. We even have a full set of Olneyville New York System glasses and coffee mugs. I used to go there on late patrol all the time and by 2 or 3am, we wouldn't even need to run the heater - even with the windows wide open....lol -
Happy Thanksgiving and May God Bless us all and our families. Just between my father and I, we've got 1 Marine, 1 Army Grunt, 1 past cop, and 2 firefighters with a total of more than 90 years of service combined, 60+ of those years are my fathers (with almost 52 as a chief) - now at 80, finally retired.

Edelman being out sucks. He's like an invisible ace in the whole that suddenly shows up, makes a great play and then disappears into the crowd again.
-
Makes you wanna shake the man's hand for sure.

Ya gotta love Texas... I won't be cheering for em TODAY but, still, ya know, ya gotta love Texas...

Do us all a favor and fire it with the carrier weight a bit and then take it out and shoot it and let us know of any differences in recoil or accuracy !!! It would be nice to get a little first hand info on the item if you don't mind...

The greatest tragedy of losing truly good men, is there seems to be so few stepping up to replace them. All of the "stand up men of old" could very well end up going the way of the dinosaur as we are all replaced with drones, I-pad addicted cyborg sheeples and liberals who all scream about their rights with not enough brains to either watch their "rights" disappearing with no one left to defend them. May he be 3 days in heaven before the devil knows he's gone and may God bless those left behind who cared.

That funny. They are actually pretty common during certain times of the year. Dangerous too when they are warming up like that cuz some of them can get pretty damn big and if you run them over they'll make quite a deal when you don't see them and hit em with the props or an outboard. I've seen them as big as 8 feet across out there just soaking up the sun. Pretty cool when you get in close and get to check em out though.

Armalite AR10B Complete Flat top Upper Assembly Wanted
Sharkey replied to Sharkey's topic in Wanted to Buy
Done deal. Grabbed a GREAT deal on a new flat top, stainless barrel, National Match Trigger, Free float hand guard with A2 buttstock. I'll swap out the stock and pistol grip on mine and already have 3 different guys after it so I COULD get as much for mine as I paid for the new one and I'll even throw a scope in to sweeten the deal. Got more scope around than I need anyway. Happiness all around. -
Armalite AR10B Complete Flat top Upper Assembly Wanted

Yea, I've thought about it from all different angles and it still comes out me letting this one go and just buying something else. I've been talking with a couple of builders and it's getting me more psyched about getting a new one anyway. -
Armalite AR10B Complete Flat top Upper Assembly Wanted
Sharkey replied to Sharkey's topic in Wanted to Buy
I saw that thanks. I'm actually thinking about letting my Carry Handle 20" barrel AR10B go. It's got about 1000 rounds through it but in great shape. Armalite railed forend. Gogun XL Muzzle Brake, Fab defense stock with the monopod, Hogue Pistol Grip and I'd even sell it with the Burris 6.5-20X50mm scope on it already zeroed to sweetness. Just considering it right now since I'd let that go before I started searching for a new flat top. -
I want to change my carry handle AR10B to a flat top but can't find a damn Flat Top anywhere in 20". I'll buy one from anyone with a new or "very low miles" unit and/or throw in my 1000 round carry handle complete upper assembly plus cash if yours in new. Mine will shoot quarters at will at 100 yards so it's in used but in great shape. Looking for the complete assembly with BCG and all. No A2 front site please. A total flat top is all I want. If you see one in 20" anywhere on the internet, I'll also appreciate a link. Thanks guys Sharkey

another homeless man shot this time for throwing rocks
Sharkey replied to Magwa's topic in Club House
A white boy was throwing deadly (possibly poison tipped) rocks at police today who 100% justifiably blazed him down in a flurry of gun fire and the mad crazy, possibly PCPd up white boy was dead at the scene. Kudos to the police for thwarting what could possibly have turned in to window breaking or perhaps even a bad nick on a Mercedes. My hat is off to these fine officers. Al Sharpton reporting. -
I've never minded the snow so much. Every year seems different anyway. Sometimes we get over pretty good, others it seems like we are digging out every other day. It's nice this time since my wife had her back surgery and isn't driving at all for a few more weeks so there's one less worry but now my Father went in last night and will probably be there till Monday. Got some "unexplained" bleeding going on so they are trying to sort it out. The good thing about getting snow this weekend is that I'll get to sit with him pretty much all alone tomorrow since I'm sure no one else will be making the trip. My and my Dodge Hemi 4x4 with AT tires couldn't give a crap less about the snow...lol My father has been a fire chief for 51 years this year so he and I sitting alone for even 5 minutes is a rarity since I usually just visit him at the station so being at the hospital with him for a couple of hours will be kind of a treat even though it's not a "happy occasion" to be there.

Their "soon to come list" eh? Heck, they'll be making a 75 round drum in 338 lapua before I can slip another rifle past my wife....lol Really though, she's awesome about it and shoots "almost" everything we have. These SI pieces are definitely some high end sticks though. Maybe if I start saving NOW, by the time I have enough green for one, she'll have forgotten about this one.... >:D

As do I Robo and thanks for yakkin with me. Although we may not always see eye to eye on everything, it is all heard and appreciated and hey, look where I ended up. I'm just old man. Old, beat up, blown up, run over, burned, cut, sliced, diced, poked, prodded and abused more times that I would choose to remember but I do sometimes actually hear stuff and in the end, sometimes you have to take a short ride on the wrong road to end up on a better one...lol

Add on the muzzle brake, the pelican case and the folder and it's a hair over 2k shipped. I was pretty happy with the deal and I have to say guys, there is a guy I've been speaking with at Red Hawk Rifles who has been absolutely outstanding to communicate with. I was actually looking at a Noreen for a while and although I prefer not to bash anyone, communications were not what I would hope for from a company I was considering doing business with. When I lost faith there, I ended up broadening my thought patterns a bit and ended up over at Red Hawk and I've got to say, "Les Szabo", my only contact point, has been simply outstanding to talk with. He answers every single question, works with you on little details, makes adjustments to work orders at a moments notice and was just a great guy to communicate with either via email or on the phone. Having someone out front like him certainly does instill confidence in a customer and I have every confidence that they will be there for me if I should need them. The whole deal has gone just as anyone could have hoped at this point.

That is also with the 26" barrel.
