Let me know what you think and if I should add anything, quarter 2 rabbits and 2 pheasants, salt and pepper, brown in a skillet, take out and put on a plate, then saute onions, clove of garlic, and green peppers in the pan, put all back together in a crock pot, with a cup of bird dog PEACH flavored whiskey alone with some sliced peaches, add a cup of water and cook for 4 hrs. serve over a bed of rice, what do you think??????

Dang, with a real tree hydro dip camo and that red as a base coat you could come up with a really unique looking piece especially if you did a black scope with a little tiger striping in black. black pistol grip, and a Luth-ar stock with a red cheek piece.

does anyone know if the seekins ambi safety will work on an Alexandria LR308 lower
-
sorry no photos of it on the barrel but I can tell you that when you get the screws tightened down it would spin around the barrel , I sent back the old one, and brownells sent a new one, installed like OJ's glove before I even touched the screws, very happy and ready to take it to the range to get the gas block adj. correctly then just wait for the scope. the older I get the less patience I have. tick tock tick tock

Finally finished my first LR10 I don't think that one mfg is represented more than twice. I learned a lot from this forum and got a lot of help from some of the members, did my own hydro dip, from mydipit.com you need patience !!! but the results are great. it is in 6.5 Creedmoor and am just waiting for the bank account to grow so I can put on the scope I want. undecided on the muzzle block yet. tried a friends that he mfg's and it looks great, so what do you all think???????????? Upper ---- Aero Barrel -----Ballistic Advantage 18" Gas Block --Superlative adj. Bolt group- D Wilson hand guard -- DiamondUSA Lower --- Alexandria Trigger--- CMMG Grip ---- Ergo Stock/buffer-- LuthAR MB1

contacted Brownells and they said that a customer service rep will get in contact with me. now we wait

I got Ballistic Advantage barrel it said it will take a .875 gas block, measured my barrel when I got it and it measured .875 so that is correct, then I ordered a Superlative arms adjustable clamp on gas block from brownells along with a mid length gas tube., I test fit the gas block,(slid it on) and all seemed well so I attached the gas tube to the block. when I installed the block on the barrel and tightened it all the way it was LOOSE !!! so loose that it could roll around the barrel. so I slid it off and measured the block with the screws tight and clamped together, it measured .922 with NO room to tighten it any more. am I missing something or did superlative arms miss package this block for brownells? is there suppose to be a gasket included or is it suppose to clamp TIGHT to the barrel? I feel somewhat bad because I have the gas tube installed on the block and don't know if I should contact where I bought it from or should I contact Superlative arms directly, either way I need a different block and tube

Does anyone know of a good gunsmith in Wisconsin that can check the head space on my 6.5 Creedmore? I know I am closer to Shepp who is in southern WI, and there is Sisco in northern WI. can either of you two recommend someone, I live in Fond du Lac and would like a contact number , name, that I can call get it done and finish my build. yes I know I can purchase gauges but to use one time seems like an expense that could be minimized by going to a smith and haveing it done right away. yes it is a 6.5 and this is the 308 forum but that doesn't mean that I won't build another upper in 308 someday, besides you all don't know how much help you have been as I follow this forum. Thank you to all

Thank you survivalshop! I had seen something like that before but could not find it, now it is etched in my brain. just one question, when mounting a scope will the slightly larger rail thickness cause any difficulty in setting my zero at 100 and give me less adjustments on elevation for longer shots????
-
apparently I have an Aero upper that is a high rail rather than a low rail. what is the down fall of the high one? if any. thank you
