  1. Well, the charging handle is still $15!
  2. The Russians must have taken them.
  3. Sure, be happy to, but it isn't a $99 upper, it's a $199 308 complete upper (including dust cover and forward assist). I got it because I wanted to try a billet rather than a forged upper. It is suppose to get here tomorrow.
  4. Just got my LaRue MBT-2. Waiting on an SAA billet upper so I can finish a 16" 308 just because.
  5. Marty Smith? He is my counterpart in Childress. Great guy!
  6. Unfortunately I need to visit Austin (land of the snowflakes) on a fairly regular basis.
  7. Howdy from the Texas side of the borders.
  8. Hope your dad is better soon. NC seems a bit iffy lately and Texas needs all of the the 308 aficionados it can get.

  10. While I am right handed I shoot left because of mixed dominance. I don't see any reason for ambidextrous anything with the AR platform or that when talking about a side charging upper.
  11. Howdy from the Texas side of the borders. Thank you for your service, but why move out of Texas?
  12. Howdy from the Texas side of the borders and thank you for your service.

  14. The ultimate issue with undeclared, limited warfare. personally I believe that if you are to fight a war it should be declared and fought all out. Yes, civilians will die, but if war is in retaliation that is the initial aggressor's decision. Keep in mind that to me terrorists are a subset of the Country that protects, funds, supports them. My wife survived the bombing of Essen as a small child. 90% of the city was destroyed, but that is what war is.
  15. Howdy from the Texas side of the borders. I like the FDE approach and have used it on both the 6.5 Grendel and 6.5 Creedmore.
  16. Agreed. In fact I got my Faxon .223 pencil barrel from them.

  18. Faxon has the 18" on their website. It is 0.11 lbs. lighter.

  22. Where is the lace?
  23. Lived there for a decade, and there are areas where you can get away from the liberals and have some open space. If you don't mind snow during the winter and enjoy the outdoors, it can be a great place to live.

  25. Howdy from the Texas side of the borders. I think we will nee more information. If you load one shell and fire does the BCG lock back? Do you have an adjustable gas block? Who's kit?
