  1. In this case you just wait. My order went in but is still PENDING. No problem, still have a few weeks to wait for .338 barrel from X-Caliber.
  2. There is a reason for the saying "Go west young man" but don't go too far!
  3. I was referring to how the commie authorities in NY would interpret it/ Besides, I actually have those long monkey arms and can easily use a bipod as a forward handhold, even on my 20" barrel creedmoor build,I know I've tried it.
  4. Are you sure this is legal? I expect NY commies will say you could use the bipod as a hand hold.
  5. Absolutely correct. Ayn watched it happen so we may well want to take her advice. We are far closer to a fascist society based on socialism than we may want to admit.
  6. A population programmed from birth to be obedient to a party based regime is different from the America I grew up in, or likely the Russian population over the past 25-years, so the song may well not apply in this case. Programming can be hard to overcome, just look at the masked protesters on the streets today who have been programmed by the one world secular progressives who own our educational system lock, stock and barrel.
  7. Happy Easter, for He is risen.
  8. What is wrong with Frankenstein builds, like this 6.5 Creedmore?
  9. We have a tool shed, at least when I'm not using it.

  13. At the moment I have an 18" .338 Federal lightweight barrel on order form X-Caliber with a Seekins adjustable gas block on the way. I plan to marry this barrel up with a Blitzkreig Tactical 80% lower that is sitting in the mill right now and a Fulton Armory LPK and a LaRue Tactical MBT that arrived last week. Since it will be 10 to 12 weeks for delivery of the barrel I am considering a Luth AR MBA-1 buttstock with a standard 308 A2 buffer tube/spring/buffer and probably a D. Wilson BCG. For the upper I am not sure. I have a Spikes upper that I used on my initial .308 build that I replaced, it is nice but I may opt to go for a new upper. Now, the real question is, what should I put on the end of the barrel? This will be a hunting rig for larger, tougher game. Optics, I am likewise unsure. I have found great success with both my Vortex and my multiple UTG scopes. The UTG's are far cheaper but come close to the Vortex on light and all hold center on the Grendel, the Creedmore and the 308s. All suggestions are most welcome, particularly from those who have built .338 Federal rigs.

  16. I have four of the UTG PRO handguards, not this specific model, mounted on two 5.56, a 7.62, and a 6.5 Creedmore. I am using their barrel nuts and like these very much. Strong, light, and you can attach rails where you need them.

  20. Sorry, I was looking at the regular night vision scope, not the thermal.
