  1. Great looking rig!!
  2. I appreciate the responses gents! Good stuff.
  3. I understand the technical difference between first and second focal plane scopes. The advantages of a first focal plane scope make total sense to me. But I can NOT understand the appeal of a SFP besides the fact that generally speaking, they're less expensive. Anybody have any ideas?
  4. I like Down Range Radio, Triangle Tactical and 3 Gun Show.
  5. LOL!! If there were real justice the kid's parents would be jailed for naming him that.
  6. This speaks to me.
  7. Nice!! What handguard are you using?
  8. Oohrah!!!
  9. Me? It's a MagPul ACS.

    Wallet

Best wallet I've ever owned: A Fossil My wife, God love her high class heart, bought me a Coach wallet I can't bear to know the cost of. Anymore, I'd look at one of the RFID ones if you live in, near, or travel to a major city with any frequency.
  11. Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you my frankenrifle.
  12. I have a Leupold deltapoint in a Burkett offset mount on my AR-15. It's good for the quick, close range stuff.
  13. I bought a Luth-AR MB-1 with the .308 buffer, spring and A2 tube. It should be at the house in just a few days, and I should be there in December. Fingers extra super double crossed I'll have a rifle to build by then.
  14. It's possible, depending on what frequencies you can use it on.
  15. Not sure what the interest is, but the OP mentioned the Magpul Glock mags. I bought one and it dropped from my G34 with zero issues. I didn't do any ridiculous torture tests or anything, but I did let it hit the ground a few times and it seemed no worse for the wear. My only complaint was it felt kind of cheap in the hand, and the seam running down the back of the mag seemed like it ought to be cleaned up a little. Just something to add to my "to do" list once I'm back in free America again I suppose.

    .308 Noob

I don't need to hide it, my wife keeps it nice and empty for me ;) Thanks for the welcome aboard, gents.
  17. This makes me miss my old '98 Nissan. The poor thing died last year. On a side note, the hackers shared their info with Chrysler, who has released a patch. The crappy part is you either have to update your car's software yourself or take it to a dealership. Well, the actual crappy part is people actually think they need their cars connected to the internet. I guess it's a good thing they fixed this vulnerability.

    .308 Noob

I am very new to the world of .308 caliber AR's. I've been a gun geek for some time and a computer nerd since forever. Neither of these things mean I'm unopposed to being corrected or learning something new. You folks seem like a pretty decent bunch of people and I look forward to building my first .308 AR/AR-10/man rifle.
  20. Just bought one. It's going to be the lower for my first AR-10. My only "complaint" is that the ASO challenge coin I have has some text on the back that the lower doesn't have on the skull. It's a bit salty though, so I suppose it's understandable.
