Swarovski dS 5-25x52 Riflescope 4A-I 71000
Ravenworks replied to Ravenworks's topic in Optics & Mounts, BUIS,Sights
Neither did I,I'll call them after the holidays. The only concern I have is there is a lot of things that could break, however they are a top teir company. It will be my only scope for the large AR platform. I could see where a person could become lazy and forget how to do things, but I bet I could train a monkey to shoot long range with this. -
Bad thing about Rock River is you are stuck using their stuff. I own their Coyote rifle,I like the gun but wouldn't do it again. Aero precision has a good product and I own a lot of their products. The thing to remember is plan it out and stick to the plan,Areo precision makes it a one stop shop.

Swarovski dS 5-25x52 Riflescope 4A-I 71000

When I build something I always try to use the best possible product at the time. I already have my mind made up for night sights,as it stands I chose the Milspec AN/PVS-30 Night Vision Clip-On For glass I have been back and forth just about any quality scope I could imagine. I like S&B, ZEISS Nightforce. Yesterday I came across an ad for the Swarovski dS 5-25x52 Riflescope 4A-I 71000 https://aa.swarovskioptik.com/hunting/blog/Our_new_masterpiece_TheNewZ8i I really really really love this scope the features this thing has is phenomenal. I like how after reading your range and environmental variations it will dial in your dope and give you your offsets using a red line.. What are your "Must-Have/Do when looking at something to fit your needs. Between my clip on and scope I'm looking at $10-$13k, it's not a money game for me. For me it's along the lines of this is going to be my ONE scope -
That's ok as long as they rode good

They should make car tire out of puzzy ,they'd never wear out.

Just an FYI about buying desiccant cheaply. We have a company here in Ohio that sells all different types. They have stuff that is lab grade to packing grade. They sell in bulk quantities or a few packets. I've always found their products way above the standard and at a reasonable price. https://secure.drierite.com/catalog3/page16.cfm?activeMenu=3

Murderer, you should have waited and caught a pair of them procreating.

The reason that I stuck with the 31's for now is the thing doesn't fit in the garage at my mother in law's. I only drive it a couple thousand miles a year because my wife and I have our plates full with taking care of her mother. She's on Hospice and there was no way we were going to let her go into a nursing home, fuq that. We're usually in Florida by October and stay until April.

I also have the Derale cooler tucked up on the frame in the rear. Parker hose loved seeing me come through the door, they took pretty good care of me.

Yeah I've thought about doing an LS or a diesel in mine. I'm running an OME heavy lift with air bags. Not a spot of rust on it anywhere.

No,but I do travel overland in remote areas by myself. Never know when you may cone upon a meth outfit in the middle of nowhere. Doesn't matter,I'm always well armed where ever I go and I'm pretty passive,as in I just want left alone. Then there's the occasional weekend at the farm where we can burn upwards of 15,000 rounds in a weekend. That $4,000 M-60 I bought back in "80" that my mother thought was a foolish investment sure has been a lot of fun over the years. During that period of time we were able to go to the local SO and buy a temporary explosives permit for $5.00. 50 pound box of Dynamite made for a fun cheap weekend. Those are the types of things we did that was considered normal, what would you expect when 80% of our senior class went Airborne or joined the corp.

I have an "06" Jeep LJ, they have an extra 18" than a regular Jeep. I set up a decking in the back, it's very easy to hual 20k rounds in my load out,the cans are in racks and secured. The suspension was built for this purpose in mind. Every inch of space is accounted for in the Jeep and my M418 trailer.

Faxon Big Gunner or BA Modern? Helping a Friend Decide
Ravenworks replied to COBrien's topic in .308AR Parts
I would tell your freind to reconsider the Criterion and a good trigger and to save money elsewhere. When people come to me and want good but cheap,I tell them to look elsewhere. -
But what kills you is when you buy a couple of different boxes of ammo and have to pay the shipping. As for the free shipping on the bulk ammo, right now where are you going to find Federal 5.56 shipped to your door for $225 per 1,000? Truth be told, if you are prepping for anything you should have a minimum of 10,000 rounds and spare barrels for each caliber.

How many of you use Target Sports USA for ammunition supplies? I buy a ton of ammo a year and I use to by a lot of stuff from SGAMMO,. I quit since their shipping got out of hand and he started gouging on MILSURP stuff, shipping is $28 now on each item. I signed up for Prime Ammo($90) at Target Sports and I have to say it's nice to buy a box of this or a box of that and not get hammered on shipping. With their 8% off plus free shipping I was looking at some 5.56 and after rebate it came out to $221 per 1,000 rounds for Federal 55 & 62gr pills. I bought some Remington 175gr SMK for $11 a box shipped, if my gun likes them I'm going to buy a bunch more. Anyhow before I start sounding like a cheerleader,I thought it was worth while to mention incase someone needs to stock up on pew pews

Will this handguard fit the Aero Precision M5 upper?
Ravenworks replied to Whiskeyfish's topic in .308AR Parts
Why not buy a handguard from AP? They are always on sale and cheap enough -
What pisses me off about all of this is no one lost their job. Look into the school district superintendent history,he's a crook. The country sherriff should have lost his job as well. Everyone from the school, sherriff to students knew what was going on and not one person did what they were supposed to do, NOT ONE!!! They knew for years what was going on with this kid.

"couple of m others were not real happy" What is sad in this day and age is children don't have enough stuff like this in their lives. I suppose the mothers would be happier if their children were pretended murdering on Grand theft auto.

I own one Rock River firearm,I doubt they make anything other than what you have. I found their custom service sucks, when I called to ask a question it seemed like I was talking to an alien.

I bought about 5,000 rounds of the 7.62 Malaysian ball ammo from SG when it was cheap ($100=300 rounds). He raised the prices to the point I just started buying the MEN. The stuff I got was clean and sealed, 1983 vintage
