Thank you gentlemen! I do believe the carbine would suit him best. On a side note, I started working at this place about 8 months ago and now have 4 guys that knew nothing about AR's, owning and wanting to building their own. I'd say the "enabler" training I recieved here has paid off.

Quick question fellers. I got my boss talked into building a 300 Blk. I see 2 options for gas length. I'm guessing pistol would be best if he planned to suppress it? Any pointers on building it? Gonna go with a 16" pipe. Thanks in advance!

I was skimming through the local classifieds last week and came across this. 2004 Bombardier 330 HO 4x4. The guy was interested in a trade for a 308/7.62 rifle. Well, the PA10 was a fun project to dip my toes in but, it'll prolly end up being a safe weight. So I did the deal. I have an Outlander 570 and wanted to get something for the wife and kid to ride. The goal is to get the girls outside on the weekends. Seemed like a good ideal. It needs some work but that's what I do.

Xanthos runs like clockwork. Never missed a beat with my handloads. The Pa-10 had a hickup at first but was probably self inflicted. Both using Magpul mags. I have an Armaspec SRS 308 buffer in my Xanthos now, but it was in my PA-10. PA-10 now sports a DPMS A2 rifle buffer setup. I hope you get everything squared up. I know how it is.

Yep, one of those "I'd be losing money if I didn't buy this" deals.

From what I've seen, the PSA is the standard DPMS pattern BCG. As always, check the head spacing.

I'm sure he was talking about a real 308 AR (I'm assuming it's a 308). I can never pass up an opportunity to be a samrtazz though. Kidding aside, my Xantos measures 0.669" and my PA-10= 0.700".
