  1. Large pin triggers are for Colt Ar-15's
  2. FWIW I was reading some industry news yesterday and dealers and distributors are reporting lowest price on AR's in a while. However the price is expected to start rising as the November elections approach. SCAR 17, I hope its successful in the field and I hope it continues to survive the political arena.
  3. welcome
  4. Most of us like the DPMS and that is a good price. That 24" barrel is heavy and long for sure. If I recall my 24" with a Magpul PRS weighs in at like 15 pounds or somewhere there about
  5. Hi Ed Thanks for joining. The FNAR is not really an AR variant. It's based on the Browning BAR rather than a Stoner AR design. The FN AR is an awesome accurate weapon none the less. Dont recall if any other user's here have mentioned owning an FNAR. We will see. <thumbsup> Additionally a friend of mine Therm, runs FN Forum here. Now that being said, hang out, look around and make yourself at home. Warning though, hanging out here is bad for a budget ;D You might find the FN needs a sibling

    Ruger Redhawk

Glad it all worked out for you. I had an intermittent leaker, took a year to diagnose. It was awful. I would feel like I was going to die and three hours later it was fine. Finally in the end the symptoms went classic as it exploded for good. My back hurt more than my stomach.
  7. Thanks for joining!!!
  8. Is this why DPMS has changed rail heights?....I wonder <dontknow>

  11. Yeah I figured as much, just want to be sure others understand : ) Of course a 300 win mag AR would be cool
  12. Cool, If you dont mind I might contact you directly via email at some point
  13. I pretty sure you need an AR-30 or equivalent for 300 Winchester Magnum. The cartridge is much larger than a .308
  14. This is what Jon F of DPMS stated on their forum
  15. Hmm I wonder if they are tapered or just low profile <dontknow> .750 .936
  16. <laughs>
  17. Last report Magpul is keeping that one for themselves <thumbsup>
  18. Windham, ME - Bushmaster's offering of a 308 chambered carbine is another step in the continuing evolution of the AR platform and an exciting addition to the growing line of Bushmaster AR-15 style rifles. The Bushmaster 308 ORC (Optics Ready Carbine) in the venerable 308 Win chambering provides law enforcement agencies with additional firepower and longer range capabilities. The ORC comes from the factory with two ½-inch scope riser blocks for the shooter that wishes to mount an aftermarket optic to this 308 powerhouse. The riser blocks, which are mounted to the receiver length Picatinny optics rail, provide enough clearance above the upper receiver so the natural cheek weld aligns the shooter's eye directly behind his chosen optic. This heavy-hitting, mid-range carbine comes with midlength gas system and a milled gas block that is mounted to a heavy-profile, 16-inch 4150 Chrom-Moly Vanadium chrome lined barrel and chamber which is capped with an A2 style birdcage flash hider. The heavy oval hand guards are heat-shielded and a six-position telescoping stock gives up to 4 inches of adjustment for the length of pull. The Bushmaster 308 ORC is shipped with a lockable hard case, operator's safety manual, yellow safety block and black web sling. Bushmaster's one year warranty is included. Please visit our website at www.bushmaster.com for complete specifications on the ORC and other Bushmaster rifles.
