  1. thats awesome
  2. Mega Arms just put out a statement to their customers explaining why they’ve chosen to take a step back from investing in a new facility. The current atmosphere is making a lot of companies rethink their capitol investment plans. Let’s hope our politicians realize the firearms industry is a job creator and uncertainty in the short run will have an effect on manufacturing growth in their Congressional districts.
  3. Armalite tries to keep parts and rifles available even when it's not always the best thing for business. This is unusual circumstances to put it mildly.
  4. Former congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and her husband Mark Kelly have launched an advocacy group for gun violence prevention. Americans for Responsible Solutions aims to “raise the funds necessary to balance the influence of the gun lobby,” the couple writes in a USA Today op-ed. “Until now, the gun lobby’s political contributions, advertising and lobbying have dwarfed spending from anti-gun violence groups. No longer,” they write. As gun-owners, they argue that in the wake of multiple mass shootings common-sense reform is needed. “Weapons designed for the battlefield have a home in our streets,” they write. “Criminals and the mentally ill can easily purchase guns by avoiding background checks. Firearm accessories designed for killing at a high rate are legal and widely available. And gun owners are less responsible for the misuse of their weapons than they are for their automobiles.”
  5. also select an "option" if there is one or else stock level wont display
  6. Every time I have been to their site it has been down. "In Stock"usually means just that with FA. They don't list anything about stock when something is out of stock.
  7. I think this is keeping them from over extending like other folks. They will be your most reliable source and worth whatever wait you have.
  8. I have ammo, NIB MA TEN set, more ammo, AR15 lowers, more ammo. Im thinking I can fund the TRG or AR30 easily. Nobody wants those silly old fashioned bolt action rifles anyway
  9. Jeez I guess Im the only one who is paranoid that they are training for a bigger picture that aligns with the homeland security ammo purchase. ;D
  10. All I can say about the age is it was made in Israel and 44 mag was the largest chambering at the time. Early to mid 90's at the latest IIRC. I should add I dont know when my buddy bought it.

  12. Bank of America has reportedly frozen the account of gun manufacturer American Spirit Arms, according to its owner, Joe Sirochman. In a Facebook post dated December 29, Sirochman wrote the following: “My name is Joe Sirochman owner of American Spirit Arms...our Web site orders have jumped 500 percent causing our Web site e-commerce processing larger deposits to Bank of America. So they decided to hold the deposits for further review. “After countless hours on the phone with Bank of America, I finally got a manager in the right department that told me the reason that the deposits were on hold for further review -- her exact words were -- ‘We believe you should not be selling guns and parts on the Internet.’”(emphasis added) Sirochman also wrote that he told the bank manager that “they have no right to make up their own new rules and regs” and that “[American Spirit is a] firearms manufacturer with all the proper licensing.” He also noted that he has been doing business with Bank of America for over 10 years, but will now be looking for a new bank. According to Unlawful News, this isn't the first time Bank of America has targeted a customer involved in the firearms industry. McMillan Group International was reportedly told that its business was no longer welcome after the company started manufacturing firearms – even after 12 years of doing business with the bank.
  13. For me I live in New Haven CT it was tough but clearly understandable to see Winchester leave the state. To see the them moving production overseas is sickening for sure.
  14. Winchester has recently admitted on its Facebook page that 2013 will see Model 70 rifles assembled in Portugal instead of South Carolina. Winchester states that the change will allow them to increase their output of Model 70 rifles to meet demand. Parts for the rifles will still be made in the U.S.A., but will be shipped to Portugal for final assembly and fitting before being shipped back to the U.S.A. for sales and distribution. SX2, SX3, and Model 101 over/under shotguns are already manufactured according to this model, so it must be more efficient than it sounds. Winchester aficionados already differentiate between pre- 1964 and post- 1964 manufactured Model 70 rifles. Will this change of final assembly point add yet another line in the sand for collectors to debate over? Only the finished product will determine if there is any significant difference in quality between the South Carolina assembled rifles built through 2012 and Portuguese assembled rifles built starting in 2013
  15. The real reason not to sell either is the required paperwork from the previous owner when I bought them. The rules were much different back then.

  18. That would be sweet mounted on a quad riding around dunes in Arizona. Just sayin.
  19. somewhere a liberal just got their devil horns
  20. Im on the fence between a new Armalite AR-30 or a Sako TRG.
  21. Since getting my permit at 21 I have only sold one firearm my S&W 4006. Lately though I have been considering selling the Desert Eagle and Calico to help fund a pricey bolt action. I dont think I have shot either since the 90's.
  22. For my old lady I need either a bluetooth headset or something all in one that can plug into the 12 volt outlet. Preferably from Amazon.com. She has a 2006 4runner Talk to me.
