oh and I want it before Tom. I know where he's been. I dont want anything after him unless it's Rob or Greg <lmao>

No need to apologize. That's ancient history here. It's not like a setup a filter to automatically delete the very name like I did with a particular auction site and the OTHER barrel maker. ;D
-
You certainly cant complain about a good barrel. Poor people skills does not necessarily equate to bad hardware. In fact I have no experience with his hardware. It's actually unfortunate because he was a niche not covered well here. It would have been great if he worked out. It's funny 2 of the folks banned from here are barrel manufacturers. Must be the fumes <lmao>

That might be a steal the way prices are now.

I know rene needs to send his sig to every forum member so we can verify that is 100 percent reliable. Please include 500 rounds of your favorite ammo when it's my turn.

AR15performance joined this sight and acted inappropriately. He was one of the few and I mean very few folks (maybe 3) to get banned from here. He was not respectful to forum members and potential customers. We deleted a lot of the dialog but I let some stay. Very unprofessional conduct. The Rainier Select barrels are built to Rainier specs for value performance. Some guys have fantastic results but your expectations need to be realistic.

Intrepid reporter Emily Miller of the Washington Times wrote an interesting article on Tuesday concerning the two systems of justice that exist in our Nation’s Capital. That is, the justice system that applies to political elites and the justice system that applies to ordinary citizens. To highlight the inequity in the DC legal system, Miller pointed to two different cases, one involving an Iraq and Afghanistan war veteran Adam Meckler and another involving NBC’s ‘Meet the Press’ host David Gregory. Both men violated a subsection of this onerous gun law, DC Criminal Code 7-2506.01: <blockquote>Unlawful Possession of Ammunition (UA): It is illegal to possess ammunition in the District of Columbia unless the person is: (1) a licensed dealer, (2) a federal or city law enforcement officer acting within scope of duties, or (3) holder of a valid registration certificate of same gauge and caliber as ammunition in possession. It is also illegal to possess, sell or transfer any ‘large-capacity ammunition feeding device.’ A person guilty of this charge can be sentenced to a maximum fine of $1000 and/or up to a year imprisonment.</blockquote> In 2011, Army Specialist Adam Meckler, who spent 15 months in Iraq and 15-month in Afghanistan during his 9 year military career, was thrown in jail for being in possession of ‘unregistered ammunition.’ Meckler was arrested at a District VFW office building. He was there dropping off his medical records and was unaware that he had some loose rounds of 9mm ammo at the bottom of his backpack (he had no gun with him). As he walked through the security checkpoint, the rounds set off the metal detector. Meckler was cuffed and then subsequently jailed. Not having enough time or money to fight the charges in court, he was forced to accept a plea deal. He now has a criminal record and was added to a database of gun-crime offenders. On Dec. 23, in an interview with NRA Executive VP Wayne LaPierre, David Gregory held up a 30 round magazine to make a fallible argument about the increased lethality of high capacity magazines (see video below). From guns.com Video here A letter written by an 8-year Marine veteran to U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein, the architect of the comprehensive 2013 Assault Weapons Ban, has gone viral. The author of the letter, Cpl. Joshua Boston who was deployed to Afghanistan between 2004-05, told CNN that he opposes gun registration because it will lead to confiscation. Moreover, that passing more gun control laws will only serve to disarm law-abiding citizens, leaving them defenseless. “I own the guns I own because I acknowledge mankind’s shortcomings instead of pretending like they don’t exist. There are evil men in this world and there just may be a time when I need to do the unthinkable to protect me or my family,” Boston said. Here is the letter Boston wrote, courtesy of CNN’s iReport: <blockquote>Senator Dianne Feinstein, I will not register my weapons should this bill be passed, as I do not believe it is the government’s right to know what I own. Nor do I think it prudent to tell you what I own so that it may be taken from me by a group of people who enjoy armed protection yet decry me having the same a crime. You ma’am have overstepped a line that is not your domain. I am a Marine Corps Veteran of 8 years, and I will not have some woman who proclaims the evil of an inanimate object, yet carries one, tell me I may not have one. I am not your subject. I am the man who keeps you free. I am not your servant. I am the person whom you serve. I am not your peasant. I am the flesh and blood of America. I am the man who fought for my country. I am the man who learned. I am an American. You will not tell me that I must register my semi-automatic AR-15 because of the actions of some evil man. I will not be disarmed to suit the fear that has been established by the media and your misinformation campaign against the American public. We, the people, deserve better than you. Respectfully Submitted, Joshua Boston Cpl, United States Marine Corps 2004-2012</blockquote> Very well said. Particularly the point about “We deserve better than you.” It’s not clear as to whether Sen. Feinstein has actually seen this letter. Nevertheless, it stands to reason that the majority of the 5.1 million Post 9/11 veterans, many returning from combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, feel the way Cpl. Boston does. In fact, it stands to reason that the majority of all veterans identify with Cpl. Boston’s letter. We often hear politicians, on both sides of the aisle, say we need to “support the troops” – well, the question needs to be asked, how does stripping our veterans of their Constitutional right to keep and bear arms via an AWB fit within that popular meme? Brave men and women put their lives on the line to protect and defend this country and its founding principles yet politicians are going to repay these heroes by gutting their Second Amendment rights? Any logical person would admit that that’s not supporting the troops; that’s spurning the troops and the sacrifices they made for this country. Though, given Sen. Feinstein’s past remarks about guns, it’s clear we’re not dealing with a logical individual (see video).

The selects are not as consistent as their other barrels. That's why they are cheap. You might get a great one..you might not. The barrel is the heart of your gun. Don't skimp. Their best inexpensive barrels are the White Oak Armament. JMHO

it's a 5000 gallon tank....need quite a few cans just to fire it up. We burn 100 gallons per day.

So the day before we took off for the holidays I says to my guy "Carlos do we have enough oil to get through vacation" to which he replies "Yes plenty" Needless to say i walked in around 8:30 am and was greeted by 35 hostile co-workers. Coldest day of the winter so far and we have no heat because we ran out of oil. Cant get it delivered until sometime tomorrow.
