  1. I'll check it out. Pat Raley published some numbers too in the link I posted earlier, I had planned to use that, but there's probably no difference.
  2. Jon, you really are evil. You need help buddy....
  3. I need one. I want the most useful/functional tool that is reasonably priced. Post 'em up!
  4. I'll bet you farted in it too, just to be spiteful....
  5. Time for an update: I'm an idiot, a total and complete utter moron. Seriously, everyone gets a turn to slap me upside the skull and stomp my balls, believe me I deserve it. My only gas problem is with the quantity occupying space where brain cells should be. I shall explain. I've been tinkering around since adding the LAW Tactical adapter to my rifle, and I noticed that with an empty mag in the rifle, the bolt will lock to the rear (behind the catch) if you withdraw the BCG with the adapter in the open position. While that's normal function for most of you all, since my rifle has been built, the bolt has never locked to the rear on empty. I have always attributed that to two particular factors: 1. I have used (1st Gen) PMAGS exclusively in this build, and they are reputed to be inconsistent in function with various large AR platforms. 2. Both custom BCGs used in the lifetime of this build feature chamfers at the front of the carrier that override the bolt catch. Where the idiocy comes in, is how I've failed to realize the catch is supposed to hold on the face of the BOLT, not the carrier. So I began diagnosing why my carrier wasn't/isn't traveling far enough to the rear to function properly. The short answer is that my buffer is ~1/2" too long, explaining both my short-stroking/bcg overspeed issue, and the failure to lock back on empty. Doh! This became apparent once I compared my buffer measurements with the data mrraley published quite a while ago. Brownells sent me an Armalite AR-15 buffer! It's 5.875" and should measure 5.188"! (Based on this post.) So, while I will still manufacture my stainless heavy buffer, and add my SLR adjustable gas block to the system, I'm first going to modify the existing buffer to the correct length, and see if that corrects my function issues.
  6. That's what I'm talkin 'bout!
  7. Yeah baby!!!!! (18"-er too for that matter)
  8. That's right, nothing but the finest accommodations for the ladies.
  9. An SLR Rifleworks Sentry 9 clamp-on! Click me!
  10. I got the Gen 3. I like how it adds to the LOP and subtacts from the required storage space. It also adds weight to the BCG so I'm curious to shoot it and see if it'll function better now. Haven't had time to machine my heavy buffer....
  11. Oh no, no TSA locks for sure. I'm going to my local locksmith and asking for the finest quality locks he can get me. I want something indestructible, 'cause my MA TEN ain't replaceable.
  12. I bought one of these today to put on the MA TEN, this baby is SWEET!!!! Magwa you are the man.
  13. Thanks for posting that 3 weeks before I fly with my guns.... Butthole.
  14. Already have the silencer brother, it's the real deal too, Ops Inc 12th .30 cal. Just waiting to make those subsonic 300 blk rounds go whispering towards the target.
  15. The Politics section is private, doesn't get crawled by search robots, only members. I don't think that's exactly the same as indefensible comments made to the whole world on Facebook. Freedom and responsibility go hand in hand. He has every right to say what he said, and he has to bear responsibility for the outcome too. Killy lost the election for all her efforts, again, consequences for being a lowlife POS trying to cash in on the death of a fallen soldier. Going after the politicians is cool with me, going after the families of the fallen is not, that's the difference.
  16. Yep. Both my enablers are named Ron, so it's all Ron's fault! I've always wanted a Mk12 Mod 0 copy, and Tom's is sweeeet... So I'm going to build a Mk12 Mod X, in 300 blk.
  17. A spotted Jaguar, wow!
  18. We're on, I'm booked to fly into PHX on Friday the 31st in the morning. It's on bitches!!!
  19. Yes! My little boy flew one straight into a Lego fort, the results were impressive.
  20. It's in stone friend.
  21. Sound advice, really cuts down on the number of hairballs you'll cough up.
  22. Let's roll with the weekend of the 31st.
