I sent the parts over to my buddy, upper, lower, grip, stock and hand guards. I'll post pics when I get it back and complete the build.

I use factory stuff for those type of components on my E-Maxx. I did get some aftermarket aluminum skid plates, but other than that I run Traxxas equipment.

Well, I'm told tumbling is not a good process for 5.7 brass because of a coating on it. I guess I ruined this batch...?? -

Ha! Reminds me of a story. When I first came down to Houston 20 years ago I went into a gas station to pick up some beer. The guy asked for my ID and when he was checking it he asked, "Maine? Where's that?" I was floored but kept it together and said it was in the northeast. And, you guessed it, he asked, "Northeast Texas?!?" ???

Yeah, this is just one that I was building, don't really care about it. And I think it's pretty easy to remove too, and reapply something new. I'll post pics when it's finished.

Have you guys seen this process? It looks pretty freaking wild, check it out on youtube. A buddy of mine is getting into it, saw his shotgun forend he did, looks awesome. He's been trying it on a bunch of things, and it's working out very well. I'm giving him some AR parts to dip, I'll post pics when they're done.

I was there monday through thursday. I played indian canyons on monday, passed on a round at ascena on wednesday (played it last year though). Got ripping drunk wednesday night, and flew home hungover as hell on thursday. I'm still probably going to hit the other esri conference in san diego, july 14 to 18.

LOL, yeah, but like Wahlberg in the original topic, try not to let it detract from the show. BoB is an awesome series, I bought the DVD set after seeing it when it originally ran years ago and have watched the whole series several times now.
