One on the morning hunt, one on the evening hunt. I ended up with 44 pounds of sausage, 4 big roasts and maybe 30 or so cutlets from the backstrap.
The morning shot was the most impressive, for me. I only have a 1.5-4.5x on my .270 and I put the round right in her lungs at 210 yards. Both doe laid down right where I shot them, so I didn't even need to do any tracking.
I'm thinking about maybe going out again this weekend, see if I can find me a buck this time.
