  1. Yeah, both form 4's are in progress now. And a buddy told me there was about a 6-month wait right now.
  2. The Mist-22 came in, form 4 goes in the mail tomorrow.
  3. <thumbsup>
  4. Good stuff! Out of my price range though...
  5. Pass! Only missed 4 of 35.
  6. Nah, the lollipop game is an easter egg they put in there for you. It's pretty difficult.
  7. Have you found the lollipop game yet? Maddening!!
  8. Ugh, did two practice tests today, scored a 57 and a 63...
  9. Galaxy S5 (Verizon) here, lollipop has been fine for me. I like it. It just sucks that I can't root it.
  10. Well, I've signed up for an upcoming test. Thanks for the push, I've wanted to do this for a while.
  11. In warm weather I frequently carry my LPC in a Blackhawk pocket holster. It works well, fabric-grabbing on the outside so the gun comes out without the holster.
  12. Well, bonus time rolled around so I thought I'd use a small bit of it for fun. I bought an AAC SDN-6 30-cal can, and a Gemtech Mist-22 integral 10/22 barrel suppressor. If all goes well, I'll take possession in the next 6 months or so.
  13. I'll assume this sold, and close the thread. Let me know if this is not the case.
  14. Nice job magwa, I've been thinking of doing this for a while now as well. Just haven't gotten comfortable enough with the study material yet to brave the test.
  15. The wife ended up calling him Biggio, after Houston Astro's player Craig Biggio.
  16. So, our 20-year-old cat has succumb to kidney failure and we put him down a few weeks back. Now the house didn't feel right without something furry in it, so we got this 18-month rescue locally. He was rescued on one of our busy highways, with his running buddy who had been struck and was dead a day already, but this loyal guy wouldn't leave his side. His disposition is awesome, very sweet and well-behaved.
  17. Lol, 98, you critical bastid. YOU read it 11 months ago. :)) And nice work Jon. <thumbsup>
  18. Hell yeah, if I were in buy mode instead of build mode, I would get a Windham Weaponry rifle, no doubt. They were Bushmaster before Freedom Group bought them out and closed the factory, many of the same hard-working Maine-iacs went back in and re-opened the shop. Good stuff!
  19. In that price range, I'd get myself a Kimber or a Les Baer.
  20. I've added a 5 post minimum requirement to be able to post in this forum. All members can view it, regardless of post count, but 5 are required to post. - Madhouse

    POF opinions

Well, you guys are kind of bumming me out about my POF now. Granted I haven't put a ton of rounds through it, but it seems to be a top notch rifle so far for me. Maybe I need to take her out dancing and get you a better review....
  22. Forgot to update, I used the trigger twice, both shots were fruitful. Outstanding rifle, very glad I got it.
  23. LOL! That was hilarious.
  24. One of my first experiences here in Texas, and this is no bullshit. I went into a convenience store to get beer and the guy carded me. He couldn't figure out what the hell Maine was so he asked me. I said it's in the northeast. This genius says, northeast Texas? No joke, I was floored. I said Yup! and walked out with my beer. Anyway, born in Limestone, went through school in Presque Isle, worked in Old Town for an engineering firm until one of our pipeline clients from Houston asked me to come down in 94, and here I am to this day.
