  1. That was good stuff. :))
  2. That Mauser action is super sweet too!
  3. Please keep it on point, and discuss only the item for sale. Keep the other comments out of a for sale thread.
  4. .270 Win., to be used on East Texas deer and any stinky piggy who dares cross my path. The trigger is amazing, adjustable from 2-4 lbs., I'm thinking it's less than 3 from the factory, very crisp.
  5. Even though my Ruger did just fine last year, I just had a hankering for a pretty wood rifle with decent glass. I went to Gander Mountain and picked up this Tikka T3 Hunter and Leupold VX-2 scope. Can't wait to get some blood on it this fall.
  6. Don't forget the preventative and mitigative tactical opportunities that he neglected to deploy, his windows should have been closed and his doors should have been locked.
  7. Thanks for posting this Jon! I've forwarded this to all of my fellow instructors.
  8. So I'm about to build out the upper end of the AR that I'm having hydro dipped. Would a set of go / no go gauges be a good thing to have?
  9. Right on, thanks all. I gave it a nice healthy dose of oil and will work it over a bunch. It is already moving a bit easier.
  10. So, I have a bolt that is hesitant to move in the carrier. I've determined it to be the gas rings. Once they get to the mouth it pushes in very hard. Once in, the bolt spins freely so I know that's the pinch point. Are the gas rings possibly oversized?
  11. Upright pics for you shepp.
  12. I know we had a hobbies thread going where a couple of ATV pics had been posted, but let's dedicate a thread to it. Last year I picked up a new quad just before hunting season started, got a Suzuki KingQuad 750. This bike is a beast, almost more power than you care to have in a utility ATV.
  13. I actually took my Joshua out for a ride last week, now I think I need a new bike... ::)

    First Pig

I'll put a pig down every time, even if it means I get skunked for deer the rest of the day.

    First Pig

We put one between the eyes of every pig we can, and drag them to an open area for the dogs and birds. They're nothing but a nuisance animal and need to be thinned out.

Good job on the pig man. One less of those assholes is always a good thing.
  17. Carnage at the range yesterday, steel silhouette range. Oh the humanity! :sniper:
  18. Unsure at this time. He is just getting setup now. Once he has a bunch of projects under his belt he will post prices on his website. He is also getting a gunsmithing ffl so he can receive and send firearms.
  19. I do not. When I was in Maine and doing tournament fighting all over New England I was studying under Troy Dorsey in Fort Fairfield and Bill Graves in Presque Isle. It was Okinawan Kenpo karate.
  20. I sent the parts over to my buddy, upper, lower, grip, stock and hand guards. I'll post pics when I get it back and complete the build.
  21. I use factory stuff for those type of components on my E-Maxx. I did get some aftermarket aluminum skid plates, but other than that I run Traxxas equipment.
  22. Wow, that's in stark contrast to my order of four stripped uppers a few weeks ago. Good luck with it man,
  23. Who? Or where? I guess I don't...
  24. Just received an order of four stripped uppers, order came in good time. I also recently bought three lower parts kits from them and also had quick order processing and good delivery time.
