  1. Nice setup man! That's a top-notch parts list.
  2. I use the QSM Titanium on my .223 AR's, very good quality and performance. http://www.qsmsilencers.com/
  3. That's another good point. With the selector in opposite directions it's convenient if your intent is just shooting one-sided. If the intent is more tactical in nature, like to shoot either strong or weak hand, it would almost cretainly need to be mounted with the levers matching.
  4. Welcome aboard!
  5. Welcome!
  6. I'm still trying to decide which configuration I like better. I've worked it a bunch of times each way.
  7. I got this in an email: Build a bigger AR! <thumbsup> <thumbsup>
  8. I clicked the link on my BB torch 9850, came up with a national match riifle on armalites page, lickety split.
  9. Oh man, that thing is kick ass.
  10. Ah, because it is ABS plastic. I'm not sure I would have thought of that. Good call.
  11. Oh yeah, that was pretty cool too. Not sure which way I liked better. I will say, with both levers in the same direction, I preferred the slim on the right side. In opposite directions, I preferred the short one on the right. <munch>
  12. I see what you're saying. I'll give that a whirl too.
  13. I wrote one, but don't see it. Maybe they review the reviews before going up? My bad - had to go verify it myself via email link. GTG now. 8)
  14. Ok, now I get it. I actually like the difference. I mounted the thick on the thumb side (left) and thin on the finger (right) side. There is minimal disturbance to the shooting finger when the thin lever passes into fire mode. The right-side lever makes it much easier to bring the rifle safe, for me anyway. I'm very happy with this setup. Hopefully I will range test it soon, but I walked around the house an went back and forth between safe and fire many times. Very cool! <thumbsup> <thumbsup>

Don't feel bad. My POF has been range ready for months and I have no excuse whatsoever for not taking it out.
  16. I hear that's how it works. <laughs>
  17. Congrats on the new baby matt !!!!!!!!!
  18. Perfect Robo - you're always there to help! <laughs> Thanks BAD, I'm going to give them a whirl as I have them. Great to hear about that exchange program though! <thumbsup>
  19. Cool!
  20. Now, I understand that this was my mistake, but I made an assumption about the 3-lever package, that it would be 3 sets of levers and not 3 individuals. I should have ordered 2 the same, since my OCD requires symmetry. I'll know better next time. :-[
  21. I did my DPMS at 200 yards as well.
  22. That counts plenty! And don't worry, his bark is way worse than his bite.
  23. Welcome sir, and thanks for your service!
  24. Unfortunately it's raining ASH. There is a pair of wildfires to our south, moving north through George Bush Park, which is a huge parcel of land. I am not pleased seeing this ash rain down though. We're keeping an eye out for embers. <munch>
  25. Welcome!
