  1. Brownells MidwayUSA RainierArms DSGarms RifleGear 44mag.com Fuck, I'll buy Chinese knockoff airsoft products off ebay, before I buy from CTD
  2. I also suggest his leather belts. I own two and wear them every day.
  3. Mernickle Holsters... you won't regret it. Too bad you didn't say something earlier. I was just talking to Bob Mernickle at the Reno Gun Show yesterday. I bought my wife two holsters for her new P938 (IWB & OWB). I have 3 or 4 of his holsters already. From my 5" 1911 to my Derringer. Great leather.
  4. Best part of owning Outlaw Josey Wales on DVD vs VHS is being able to scramble past her scenes faster.
  5. Which "grey" is that? Nevermind
  6. Whoa baby! Look at that gas key. You weren't kidding about the damage.
  7. Bolt rifles can handle a bipod on a table better than the auto loaders. Just putting an old rag or carpet fragment under the bipod legs will change your shooting. It's all the moving parts that change your harmonics. I could see your rifle jump (even if it was only a little bit) from your video. I had the same issue when I first started my rifle. You obviously know how to shoot, and shoot well. I'm not trying to change that.
  8. There are more than a few drag quads loaded with Hyabusa 1300cc engines. Some are pushing near 400hp! I actually broke my collar bine and suffered a concussion just from downloading the videos on utube. I'm sure actually riding one would kill me.
  9. Fukc yeah! Screw sharks and gators. Hippos are like SUV's with teeth.
  10. PS. Based on your groups, I'm assuming an advanced trigger too (Geissele most likely). Get that bipod off the bench, and into the dirt... or put your rifle on bags... and I'll bet you tighten that group up even more. Nice shooting!
  11. Fwiw. We already know the assembly of the rifle was sub-par. I'm going to put more weight on that than anything. The external features seen in the pics (UBR w/ MonoPod, APEX handguard, LaRue BUIS, Surefire brake, Vortex glass w/ LaRue mount, Norgon button) are all top notch products. If the external quality is any reflection of the internal parts, I'm leaning even more to assembly error. There could be a spring or pin out of whack... but it could just as easily be a misaligned gas block or similar. If you aren't savvy on the building of these rifles, I'm afraid a trip to your local gunsmith might be in order. I'm still disappointed that it appears to not have been test fired. I would never release a rifle until I had flawlessly put at least a half magazine of mil-surp through it.
  12. It has to be DI. There's not a piston small enough to fit inside the APEX (I tried). I'm guessing that's an 18" or 18.5" barrel? I can see its not a rifle length gas, which may be your problem as well. An adjustable gas block or heavy buffer may fix some of your issues as well.... After you've looked at Survivalshops's suggestions.
  13. Your biggest issue would be with the Pmag. You can still single load the heavies, one bullet in the mag at a time. Pmags have the shortest space, due to the polymer thickness, and the fact that they have that little ridge in the front of the case to assist feeding. Lots of guys have had issues loading heavier than 175gr (I've never tried to shoot heavier than 175gr, so I'm not the best witness). If your rifle used the G3 mags (which it doesn't sound it does, if it's DPMS compatible) you could've loaded EXTRA long loads. Those mags are enormous!
  14. He also directed; Flags of Our Fathers, Letters From Iwo Jima, Heartbreak Ridge, Outlaw Josey Wales, Pale Rider and High Plains Drifter.... Among my favorite movies ever.
  15. Have you ever bullets that heavy in your rifle before? What mags are you using?
  16. Lol
  17. If they were on fire... I'd splash them with gasoline.
  18. Cruise control + air conditioner + over 100° weather = an almost guaranteed car fire in anything 10 years or older.
  19. Just got home from the Gun Show... couldn't leave without this... I've seen this guy and his knives at several shows. I'm always kicking myself for not buying. I just couldn't walk away this time.
  20. He directed Unforgiven and Gran Torino... I liked both of those.
  21. The 2nd picture makes me LOL. How does a builder miss that?
  22. They have a lot of high quality parts on there. Like you said, quality of parts is no good to you if the assembly is poor. I never understood why a company wouldn't test fire a rifle before shipping it.
  23. Especially for the ammo strict MA.
  24. I've seen them on M4 and bARFcom. They announced they have a variety of Keymod and Mlok rails coming soon for the .308AR
  25. I have that same Recoil. I almost bought an LWRC immediately after getting the mag. Especially when I saw their Patriot Brown models
