  1. that depends on your states laws and whether or not you live in a ban state
  2. that tends to depend on your state laws
  3. i also tuck my arm under, even with the mono, simulating a sandbag, because A. who's got those in the field? and B. with the bipod up front it's rock solid as a platform. using the bipod in the rear is an excellent idea. <thumbsup>
  4. nuts have been kicked <lmao>
  5. one things for sure, i'm making up for that shoulder injury last year, and i plan on winning that bet from last year at your range, maybe a few others? >:D
  6. dang sons o bitches, giving the hk a little work out. probably ran through 10 or 12 boxes of .308 and 2 bricks of .22lr, they fear that the most! it's kind of scary actually, it's only february too, wait till it gets warm. not to mention my mega build and heather's ar build after. oy :o
  7. <laughs> no, I saw it on Rainiers site but already ckiontacted Dave Branson about the Mega billet set ;D
  8. chainsaw is a noveske receiver set I was contemplating
  9. <lmao> this is good. where's tom, we need a nut kicker
  10. the prs uses a rifle length tube, i would go with a buffer from clint, really good stuff http://www.heavybuffers.com/
  11. the boys here have had good luck with the bobro mounts, http://www.bobroengineering.com/browse/category/scopemounts/ and i personally have a larue mount on my larue obr http://www.laruetactical.com/larue-tactical-spr-m4-scope-mount-qd-lt-104 it also came with one because the rifle has the cant built into the rail http://www.laruetactical.com/larue-tactical-obr-qd-scope-mount here is one with the cant http://www.laruetactical.com/larue-tactical-20-moa-psr-scope-mount-qd hope it helps
  12. i know, i'm still on that fence, not real sure if i want it? <dontknow>
  13. i wonder how that one works? there has to be some exclusion there.
  14. i am handing this one off to the others, i have to hit the hey, night guy 7p-7a, i'll check when i wake to see how you made out <munch>
  15. and they say i am the instigator when tom's not around….. thanks rob. just pm'd dave on the gtr-3h ambi set w/ charging handle :o ;D and so it begins
  16. i was thinking of getting the set, i already have the list from dave true that :o
  17. my obr has a 1:11.25
  18. yes it does, on top. it's a bitch but it's sounds like your half way man <thumbsup> this isn't easy for the first time. go for it
  19. i think in ct they are like my commie state and require a break or comp before the gun comes to the ffl. pinning the carbine stock isn't hard. roll pin it then a neat little tack weld over it, gtg. or no weld, depends on where you're shooting and how hard they look
  20. ok, quick question. did the lower come with the ambi bolt release? if not where did you get it? i thought i was going to get the chainsaw set, but i like the idea of the right side release instead of adding extra parts.
  21. ok ready?you need to take the trigger, get in place with the tension on the spring, and place the disconnector in and get your trigger pin in to hold it in place. it will not be easy, any of this, so take your time. also if your parts kit came with a small vial of lube hit both pins. it may be easier to help you line these up by using a roll pin punch, i do, and it helps to keep everything aligned. next the hammer goes in, getting the tension on the spring and pushing into place, put hammer pin in and you're done. sounds easy. read this several times man then try. i promise you'll thank me if you have the punch's.
  22. what do you have, or what is the end use, or is it that you are having trouble with trigger install? we need more to help. welcome to the forum by the way.
  23. i agree, you are looking to build an overkill rifle. what you briefly described is an easy 600yd gun(up to 800 i would say), and unless you just love the look it seems you are going to duplicate what you already have. i would say if you haven't bought your barrel, slow down and read up on some threads here. my pws mk214 has a 14.5" barrel with a brake for 16.1 oal, and it hits 300 no problem
  24. milk,malk…….. same thing.
