  1. yeah, the local radio here loved it. and i'm on board. people need to nut up or shut up. kids are totally different than when i was young, and that wasn't long ago. nice job tom. i like bfh's, have an eight lb sledge myself.
  2. nice. i may have overpaid, but i worked the o.t. for it and it motivated me to start a non gun project.
  3. in stock at rainier arms http://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=966
  4. i already bought the bench, this isn't just for gunsmithing, there will be some rough things from time to time with it, i didn't mind the price and i got all of it on sale, bench for $430. i like that it has a thick wood top and 4x4 steel legs.
  5. i know what you mean but it sounds so wrong, just wrong man! <dontknow> <thumbsup> can't wait.

  12. if you're trying to bait me you'll have to do better, but not by much
  13. your opinion is respected as well as all your experience. i am tough on her but fair. my ex is against me at all times, but i think my daughter respects the difference and the structure i implement. i make sure she knows i am proud and love her, but i also want her to learn from doing, which as you saw, get up when you get knocked down and don't give up. <thumbsup>
  14. :laughing4: what, me? it's not my fault you had all those parts begging for friends <lmao> <munch>
  15. mom, can i go play at drew's house? ;D
  16. i saw this on the local fm radio dj posted it, i agree with dad, kids are outta control. my daughter is six and ok for now, and hopefully for ever. but if you have problems, maybe this will help
  17. drew, you seem to need one of these if i remember, either as a donor or complete, because someone has an 300blk build that has more dust on than tom has sand in his back yard <lmao>
  18. <munch> and then…….
  19. finally organizing my basement, creating a workspace and moving the office downstairs to make the office into something else for more room. so far it's like this got a nice irwin vice http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-202214083/h_d2/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&keyword=vice&storeId=10051 work bench http://www.gladiatorgarageworks.com/skip/workbenches/8_ft__modular_workbench_gawb08mtrg.pro?scr=category&activeCategory=0&activeSubCategory=0 and power strip http://www.gladiatorgarageworks.com/skip/workbenches/gladiator__174__workbench_powerstrip_gaac68psxg.pro?scr=category&activeCategory=0&activeSubCategory=0 i have some power tools, a sweet compressor heather got me last year for being a good boy, i think it's a 26 gallon, a decent box, various things things i have collected since i moved out as a kid. been building on this collection for a while, wrenching on my motorcycles and vehicles, but now i want to be way more organized and complete so i can do more including buying all the tools i'll need for rifle builds and more. tools cost a crap load of money, as much as gun bling that's for sure. next up after i finish this set up is getting more air tools and upgrading some existing things, my father uses snap on everything, holy crap it's expensive, but really nice, so i'll be saving for those. never thought of the difference until i used a ratchet back to back, my craftsman 12 tooth compared to a 48 tooth snap on. i know that's not really a fair comparison but damn. this post is long winded, but i've seen some sweet setups you guys have and had man cave envy :o <lmao>
  20. i think i might get that set for my ar15 build from rainier, nice choice. valentine's dat gift for heather incoming, by the time she sees this she'll have it, http://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=2255 and some flowers of course, and i got an acs stock to replace the moe on my pws. should be here monday. i may order the same receiver that 98z5v did, been busy setting up my workshop in basement.
  21. cool digs, it's a very different set up then we've seen lately. <thumbsup>
