  1. brownells has a bunch in their catalog, i think i am going to buy my fiance one of the troy ind. for her christmas gift. (stag 3L) shh, she don't know yet. good luck
  2. nice post matt. very telling of your build and personal ability, which is better than you credit yourself with. i am assuming you did not "bench" your rifle, which would give you more consistant groups but won't tell you real data. i have days with my larue that i shoot 1/2 moa or better and then i'll go and shoot much worse. those days i'll put it away and grab my gsg5 and forget about it. don't get so wrapped up in the paper, so times it lies. i am not a pro, don't have formal training, but i do know how to have fun, and i try to get better, and you , imho, are doing just fine. nice job
  3. I believe its previous stated to be sr25
  4. Love my obr, can't wait to see yours
  5. Welcome to the site, thanks for your service, congrads on your rifle
  6. updated pics, only waiting on bad-ass levers (2), on christmas list for both my 308 rifles, otherwise complete <thumbsup>( relative term, maybe 3x manifier in distant future). love the larue index clips for holding the pressure switch wire in place away from hot parts.
  7. USMC_0317_SS is gtg, i bought a surefire m600 kit, as advertised new in wrappers. sent usps money order thursday, package arrived today, monday. did i mention i live in mass and he's on the west coast? good comms, good man <thumbsup>
  8. i can't do that in my state, so you have, i repeat have to, get er' done. i am weeping tears of joy for the video. and i am slightly jealous beyond belief. <thumbsup>

  11. Pws mk214 @ 100yds w/ xps 2 (14.5") and my larue obr w/ Leopol mk 4 4.5-14tmr @ 200yds (20")
  12. i'm in for my trip! never had dunes before, up here it's mx or gncc type woods stuff, or throwing the streets on and super moto-ing it and laying stripies out of all corners. damn, miss my rc51 more and more. now i'm not too familiar with nc, but my fiance grew up there and went to unc, visits her family two to three times yearly. i'm due to go in the spring trip.
  13. i say we do mandatory group meetings for first dates. my little is almost six, so i give it a realistic 7-8 years and there will be a keg and bbq before she gets picked up, all out of staters will be supplied with house weapons, and let it be known we don't want any funny buisiness. next day will be a mandatory range day to get the what if's cleared
  14. let the beating begin <laughs>
  15. welcome, nice tat. i like it a lot. i want to get my violator touched up.
  16. welcome. i learn everyday here. <thumbsup>
  17. Best... post.... ever!!!!!!!
  18. very nice, a free state.
  19. four orders from them and nary a problem. so now that i know that is seems to be a clamp for a sleeve that is welded, keeping the break from being changed? if i were to cut the clamp, i could theorheticly change it? i don't plan on it, but just trying to figure the mechanics of it out
  20. My close friend was asked what he would do if anyone ever hurt one of his daughters. His response was, "25 to life." truer words have never been spoken.
  21. <lmao> atta boy, nice stuff. my christmas gift from the misses is a pelican with pre-cut foam from larue, because i cut metal and wood, anything else other than steak gets messed up! <lmao> http://stores.homestead.com/Laruetactical/Detail.bok?no=581 pre cut for my obr with prs stock. priceless.
  22. <lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao>
  23. my daughter is turning 6 in november, i have two pit bulls (big babies but very protective of her and big knives (tops steel eagles 111a and 107d) which i plan on taking a wet stone to every time a new boy comes to pick her up. the guns are good, but i really need to get a shotgun to intimidate. <thumbsup>. btw, she is a total daddy's girl, loves to play sports with me, and hopefully will get into shooting when she's a little older. so congrads new dad, have a cigar, the real fun is about to begin.
  24. ok gents, for the moment you've all been waiting for. i think that robo is half right, it almost looks to be part of the brake though, like it is a sleeve. the qd can is supposed to slide on and there is a twist mechanism to lock it in place and i believe it has to do with that. the first one is from the left side, if you click on the pic to enlarge you can see what i mean by it being a sleeve of sorts. then we have top, bottom, and 3/4 right side. what do you got for me, because now inquiring minds want know. btw, for those who don't know, i don't have the can, not legal in mass, bastards >:(
