    Brass

Most people aren't going to want berdan primed brass... Too much trouble. Of course right now someone MIGHT want it but not it!
  2. I had my LGS rethread a sling stud to fit a threaded hole on my handguard and mounted the cheapo walmart bipod.
  3. On my 308, I am using IMR8208 and CCI #34 primers, I think they are the 34... Military primers.
  4. SOG and nothing else... http://sogknives.com/store/tools.html Not a Gerber fan, watched the pliers shatter before with hand pressure. Used to like Leatherman, the owner is Democrat which on its own isn't bad. The supposed support for PETA is another matter. It is one of those I have not been able to confirm but also there is no denial. Innocent until proven guilty I suppose. Do prefer my SOG though.
  5. What exactly is the problem with a 16" sniper rifle? :cookoo: " During the development of the Tango 51, Tac Ops took a standard 26-inch barrel and cut it down to 18 inches in one-inch increments. Between 10 to 20 rounds were fired at each increment. They found that a 20-inch barrel provides for a complete propellant burn and no velocity loss when using Federal Match 168-grain BTHP, a cartridge that has become something of a law enforcement standard. Going to an 18-inch barrel only resulted in a loss of 32 feet per second (fps)." http://www.tacticaloperations.com/SWATbarrel/
  6. Just tell hers it is multiple guns or multiple women, which do you prefer? <lmao>
  7. Hi. 3 year vet, communications. Never deployed, spent almost my entire time at Ft Hood between the first Gulf War and the second. AAM and ARCOM recipient. There was an article on Fox recently about this very subject. A combat vet agreed with the decision on the basis that he went to combat to protect your right to free speech. He is a MoH recipient and he knows this was the right decision. If you served, you know why you did. You should know this was the right decision too. You can disagree with someone wanting to lie about what they haven't done in life but you should not be backing laws that make it brag falsely.... http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/07/01/veterans-respond-to-court-overturning-lying-law/
  8. I honestly haven't fired anything heavier than a 150gr round yet. I have some 180gr rounds loaded to find out how much powder works best but haven't even been to the range to shoot those yet. I was hoping someone was going to respond to this so I could see what they had to say :p
  9. STI Tactical 5.0" .45 12+1 rounds LOVE shooting that gun. First time I shot at 25yards (few weeks ago) and I placed 20 shots in a 12" square...
  10. I have been using 8208 on the recommendation of my gun smith. It shoots well enough with my 150gr Nosler bullets, 42gr of powder. Haven't tried working up an actual load yet. He recommended it because it is very temperature stable.
  11. The Costa is a PredatOBR with UDE furniture (guessing color, cant remember). The PredatOBR is a PredatAR rifle with an OBR barrel.
  12. BulletDrop was free. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/bulletdrop/id413617625?mt=8
  13. Your from TX, Larue ALL THE WAY http://www.laruetactical.com/
  14. No denying I have become a Larue fanboy. Larue QD mounts maintain zero between removals. But there is not way I would waste my money on ARMS, piece of crap mounts.
  15. Only makes about 90fps difference. I went with a 16"
