Which Luth, and which MagPul PRS? There's about 5 versions of the Luth, and one will fit what ya got. The PRS 3 works for either a carbine or rifle receiver extension - both extensions work with the PRS 3.

I'm not being a dickhead, or protecting information - you just want to get involved at a high level, with zero experience, and think it's all gonna be handed to you, at your request - and that "will make you good at it." On a Geissele 2-Stage National Match Trigger, I have. Not on a LaRue. There's no need to fuk with the LaRue MBT-2S, at all. You won't find a lighter disconnector spring for that trigger, anyway. If you want to dabble, and fuk around with adjustable 2-stage triggers - that's another world away from where you're at now. Buy a Geissele 2-stage National Match trigger, and play with settings, springs, and adjustments to your heart's content. I have a personal favorite setup on the Geissele 2-stage National Match that combines one spring from their DMR trigger - and it fuckin' ROCKS. I set that up for @Matt.Cross's trigger in his 6.5 Grendel Mk12 gun. You are over-thinking this shiit, for what you're trying to get into... again...

I did watch it fully. I have 5 or 6 Geissele triggers, too. Just so you know. EDIT- YOU tend to "assume" alot, and doubt what others know. Based on what YOU do not know. Don't act like this is new information for the depth of knowledge that is on this board, amongst the people here, and you're breaking some new ground, with great info that's never been seen before. Don't do that, when you're given information here. Don't doubt the people here that give you info, and then "assume" that they might not not what they're talking about, or that "they didn't watch your pawn shop information video..." Once again, you are over-thinking this. That video you posted is nothing like the LaRue trigger you received - and if you look at your LaRue MBT-2S, you will clearly see that. Stop with all the hypothetical horseshiit, man. Contact "ModernPawnAndGuns.com" and talk to them about the video that they posted. It didn't come from anyone here, and we don't know why they put that out. Your questions are for them, not us. Rip it up. Make sure you let us know what they say - and what you ask them. Not every 2-stage trigger is made the same, they're not all identical, and though you can apply (very) basic workings to them, they are all different. DO YOU ALL AGREE.... Nope. KNS Started it all - for the very reason of not killing your precious NFA item, over time, and wear - and round count. KNS even makes one for the sear pin. I'd look into that one, too. I like how the author stated something about 10,000 rounds, and measuring wear... Whatever. I've shot twice that over a weekend from my M4A1 - and didn't care. Armorers would fix it, get me a lower if need be. That don't happen in Civi-World. There aren't "replacement legal full-auto lowers" just laying around. Not a shocker. We've reported here about PSA PA-10 uppers NOT fitting on other lower receivers. It's all in the history here, and searchable. PSA is proprietary. To PSA. Only.

Dimensions. RRA LAR-8s are the same thing as Bushmaster BAR-10s - same exact guns - and those two animals are completely different than Armalite AR-10s and DPMS LR-308s. The RRA LAR-8s (and Bushmaster BAR-10) BCGs are longer, the upper and lower receivers are longer, the charging handles are longer, and they still use "somewhat standard" receiver extensions, so the buffers are even shorter... Big differences between those platforms. You go RRA, you go proprietary, in the core operation of this .308AR "platform."

Eh, that's that certain guy's opinion. I don't agree with him. There are cases that you WANT those pins, and nothing else works. He's talking about reducing hammer speed because there's not a j-spring groove, and a bunch of things - making an issue that doesn't exist. Because he doesn't like those pins. Better put 'em in your pistol-cal ARs, men! Blowbacks will break hammer pins. Know where? Right where that groove is, for the j-spring. If you have registered REAL full-auto guns - wouldn't it suck to lose that registered lower and that registered serial number, because the fire control group pins got all hogged out with use? How much will that registered pre-'86 lower cost you again? $15 grand?... See?... There's a definite reason for them.
