Notice... that I've refrained from getting into that current shiit-show that others are getting sucked into... Here's my $0.02 on that one...
-
Audioslave... Chris Cornell from Soundgarden + 3 members of RAGE... Rage Against The Machine... = Audioslave. Badass combination. Shadow on the Sun...

Hey - if you gotta have it THAT WAY... Then we already know why you WANT it that way. I'm cool with it. You need that big bottoming-out shelf on there, to make you more "comfortable" - lifestyle choices and all - I'm alright with that. You gotta be comfortable in your lifestyle, to shoot well. You do the "Familiar to ME" thing, to get you stable in your shooting positions...
-
Cool - so you say! So answer the main question... What did BA do for you, once you fucked up their barrel?...
-
You're full of shiit. Loc-Tite is never used on barrel extensions, at all - torque is all that it ever needs. In fact, Loc-Tite isn't use ANYWHERE in an AR build - it's not called for ANYWHERE, in an AR build. So, in light of that - you're full of shiit. I don't think you used ANY kind of timing device - but if you did - then post a picture of your "crushed crush washer..." I think YOU fucked this BA barrel up, all by yourself, because you slapped that brake on there, and you didn't know any better between brake and barrel nut - and you tried to time that thing with nothing in between it - and YOU cracked that barrel extension loose. That's just what I see here, from what you've said and denied. It's not hard to see. BA didn't fuk that barrel up - but you sure did. Because you don't know what you're doing. You haven't been doing this for 20 years, either... Oh - by the way - you had no fucking CLUE what the barrel extension torque was, until I stated it. Not a clue.

Indeed, he did nail it. That little TWIT Thunberg just needs to STFU. What a spoiled little complete idiot. She's about as important to this planet as a pimple on a gnat's ass.

You know I'm not here because I'm The PC Police...

All the gay guys like that "shelf" at the bottom. Reminds them of bottoming out on that shaft... Er... "grip"... Seems they dig it, so I just let it go, and don't mention it. They like that back palm, down by that pinky finger, bottoming out on something - makes them fell "comfortable" or whatever they say. They can definitely GRIP better like that. If it helps them shoot better - then whatever...

He hasn't been here since May 6th, but I quoted him, so it goes to his email notifications - unless he turned those off. With a short time here, I doubt that happened - so he knows about this post update, and my reply. I'm betting he torqued that muzzle device on there with NOTHING in between the barrel - NADA... And his misunderstanding was that it's "3 time tight, 3 times loose, then FINAL TORQUE..." ...Like a barrel nut. I think his muzzle device went on 3 times tight - with ZERO shims, washers, nothing there between the barrel... Directly applied to the barrel, nothing in between... Oh, really?... DECADES? Since he knows so much about TIMING A MUZZLE DEVICE, like he stated to me so many times... That thing went on there BARE, and he tried to time it. Completely OBLIVIOUS... In my Very Humble, Honest Opinion, HE fucked up his BA Barrel, all by himself, due to his own lack of knowledge of building these things. BA didn't do this, with a loose extension. Fun-boy did this to himself, through a complete ignorance of building these things. Small=Frame, Large-Frame - doesn't matter. It's a complete ignorance of building AR platforms, here. It's definitely NOT a problem with any BA Barrels. Not that I've ever witnessed. I'll wait for his response to his own thread...

'Bout time you spent Belt's money right... I'm just sayin'...

Here, HERE! To both of you. Both in the past, by the first post, and to the current situation, as we see ourselves now, on the terrain on which we are currently deployed...

I encountered this mentality last weekend, at the shoot. I smoked two 500+ targets out of the gate, from one of the stable shooting platforms, then everything went downhill after that for me. One dude comes over and asks "What was your hold on thise first two?..." My reply was "held 4.6..." After a short pause, and a little misunderstanding, then a dawning of light, he says, "Oh, you're mils..." He walks away, turns around a few times, and pokes his smartphone a bunch, and comes back and says, "I was holding 5.0 mils..."

Normal, on some BCGs. I have several like that.

Unimpeachable? That's easy, brother. See below.

One of the guys we were shooting with grabbed a pretty good pic. This was that trailer that was moving all over.
-
What was the outcome here? 1st - Did BA take care of you? 2nd - did you install this brake straight onto the barrel, with no washers or shims at all, and try to make it line up?
-
Indeed, my good man. Bounced from Tocumen to Rio Hato, to David, into Panama City, then Cologne.

So, here's the shakedown... When we signed up, we ended up in Squad 4 (of 5 squads), so we started on Stage 4, and went 5, 1, 2, 3, done. Stg 1 was at the bottom of the hill, 5 at the top, all shooting into this valley. There must be 60 or 70 pieces of steel out there, all over this valley. I prepped all my dope cards the night before, and moved them onto 3x5 cards, for that wrist-coach. Worked VERY well, for having the stage info right there. Stage 4 SUCKED!!! It was supposed to be standing inside the jungle gym, rifle at port arms, fire all target sets from a different triangle in the jungle gym. We got there, and the squad daddy says, "I had no idea this jungle gym was this small, so we start on a knee, inside, and you can fire one set from the prone..." My turn came up, and I put the bipod legs down and was going to brace them against the bars of the jungle gym - barricade the gun. That thing was moving all over, so I tried to sling up tight to help - blew the sling out of the Timber Creek QD socket, right away. So,I said fuk it, barricaded the bipod and went for it. Timed out on that stage. I saw a few guys START from the prone, and that's what I should have done. Get hits from the easy position, then move into those triangles. I learned... Next was Stg 5, the timber pile. This was a really cool stage. I did better on this one, but still timed out. Here's Tommy shooting it: Stg 1 was the timed stage, and the only one I cleaned in time. 9 targets, out to 505 (longest). Matt spotting on Stg 1, then Tommy shooting it: Stg 2 next, start from the pipe pyramid, hit the two 460s, move to the trailer, hit the 460s again, then work your way down the canyon... Here's me at the trailer - that thing was moving all over when you tried to lean into it. No barricading that one, so I put the rifle up on top of the trailer rail and went for it. Stg 3 was the last one for us. Supposed to be dark red with white outline, but by the time we got there, all the paint was shot off the targets. Start from the top of the spool, move, shoot them all again. I got all the ones from the top of the spool, but timed out after moving... I saved the large format pics of the downrange stuff, so I'll work on making some composite pics over the next few days. Next match is June 26th! Can't WAIT!!!

Lemme help you SmartPhone guys out a little... maybe you can see this one... Go ahead - do the YT age restriction thing - it's about the titties, why they did that...
-
It's Titties, and some AMAZING ones, too. If you phone-fuckers can't figure it out - with SMART phones... then how smart are they. I'd suggest you actually jump on a real computer, and log in on your PC... Or, miss the titties...
-
Just because I don't have the technology, doesn't mean I don't know how to use the technology...
-
Here's what I think of when I hear that... Doesn't have anything to do with grilling - but you brought it up...
