  1. This is the description under this Manufacturer Header here: Palmetto State Armory has become our second biggest sponsor. They off their version of a 308 AR the PA10, as well as great prices on ammo, mags and other cool house brand weapons What I just posted better not get deleted, based on the amount of money PSA spends here - they started buying up ad space, and sponsor space, HERE, just based on how BAD their Large Frame ARs WERE - to try to delete the comments, and history. All we've been through, through the years, trying to make these guns operational. Don't nuke this, Mods and Admins - let it ride. Money matters, I get it - but taking money from people that can't get it right, just to try to downplay bad comments... That's not right. Let it ride. Make them fix it. They bought Ad Space here - to try to make bad comments go away. That's the only reason they did it... I'm not going away...
  2. Not a surprising story from PSA, and their Large Frame AR. They just cannot get it right. They never will. Gun looks cool - and that's what they're appealing to. Looks, over function, and that's how they've always done it with the Large Frame AR. Band-Aid fixes for major functional problems, in this platform, just so they can appeal to the cheapest people that run the cheapest ammo most of the time - and just hope it works for them - most of the time. Most people never take advantage of the "Lifetime Warranty!" that PSA offers. Good thing, too, because from what we've seen here, from people that post about sending their Large Frames back for warranty - "no problem, function tested, performed flawlessly..." Yeah, right. The design is OFF. The gas ports aren't the proper diameter in the barrel, the recoil system is historically WEAK... AR15 carbine recoil springs are in Large Frame 308ARs... right off the assembly lines, directly to someone foolish enough to buy one of these. Okay, I'll get off my soapbox, and just give you the vid from 2 days ago, from 110SASSActual. This is the "new" KAK M110 K1 clone from PSA. It fails, very miserably. Didn't expect THAT coming... You know what you need to do, PSA. You just refuse to do it, because it's $$$ out of your pocket. But, Hey... You do you, Boo...
  3. @Rsquared, know you're busy, brother... If you get a chance, check that vid I posted above ^^^, and start watching at the 12:00 minute mark. This impacts you directly, in your travels to the SDTF. All others that travel here annually, as well, but it impacts you the most, my brother...
  4. Update #2 for the night. Not bad news. Good news.
  5. Johnny B. Hard Truth Monday. The intro is the most truth I've seen spoken in a long, long, long time. Man up, men. Be men.
  6. God Bless all the warriors from before, past, that have protected this nation, and made us what we are. Inspiring words from Shrek. The Sheriff of Baghdad. John McPhee.
  7. Giving you the Congratulatory Cold Bore Hug was the best part of it, brother! I didn't hug @JBMatt when he got his 2k Cold Bore... I'm just sayin'...
  8. Ah, Bullshiit... NAW...
  9. Hell yeah, brother.
  10. ^^^ This is also incorrect, and a misunderstanding of the differences in the two patterns of Large Frame AR Recoil Systems. Actually, there's a 3rd pattern of Large Frame Recoil Systems, and that what RRA does with the LAR 8 system.
  11. By the clearly stated intent of the design of both those springs, directly from that spring manufacturer. That's how.
  12. Here's the biggest problem, brother... and they won't admit it...
  13. The exact "deal" made, brother, is quite simple. Have you researched it? "The Deal" was that Rare Breed gets to keep what they have, because it IS legal, and it IS NOT a "machinegun" per the very, pinpointed definition of the law that was passed in 1934. The NFA. "The Deal" is - you do you, Boo - run with scissors, Rare Breed. Just AGREE that you will not develop this technology for Handguns... ATF was very specific in using the term "Handguns" in that agreement. They didn't say "Pistols." There is a difference between the two definitions. A "Handgun" accepts a magazine in it's grip, and it semi-auto. A "Pistol" is a revolver - it DOES NOT accept a magazine in it's grip, at all. Fine line... The ATF definitions are spelled out - not because of the ATF, but because of lawmakers that made the law. SO, "The Deal" was... You can have the technology - the courts say so. Once we drop this, agree to NOT develop this technology, for Handguns... What, exactly, does not make sense about that? I don't want Glock switches running willy nilly all over the place, and being called "legal." There's too many stupid gangbanger MFers out there... Let's discuss...
  14. Found another video of that same horse!...
  15. Shuddup already, Doc. You centerpunched a target at 200 AT NIGHT with a 30/30 Leeever gun. With iron sights...
  16. So, I'm already not fukkin around with this thing. @Rsquared never would send his MRAD out here early before a shoot, so I could do proper load development on it. So, now, we're doing proper load development for a .338 Lapua Magnum bolt gun. I'm taking it out Monday morning, and sending a bunch of 225gr Hornady SSTs that I already have loaded up - the first year's load for Ron. After that first year, we went to Hornady 285 ELD-Ms, and a generic load. Monday is ladders on the 285s, 86.5, 87, 87.5, 88, and 88.5. Looking for pressure, and maybe a group size difference, big or huge or smaller. Something to start with. But, that's for the 285s. This morning, I snatched 8lbs of Accurate MagPro, and a box of (100) Hornady 300gr A-Tips. THAT is where the load development will happen... I'll start a separate thread after Monday morning's outing...
  17. The absolute best part of that video right there is @Matt.Cross standing there, completely speechless, looking like he can't even comprehend what just happened. Which was a 2k Cold Bore by @Magwa. He followed it up with another shot, 2nd shot, Impact, immediately afterwards. First shot was 3" left of dead center, right at the top of the plate - blew the target flasher right off the plate. I told him to send another one right now, same weather conditions, same dope, do it, get back on that gun right now. He hit it on the second shot, 3" RIGHT of center, top of the plate. If you measured 2-shot groups... That's a 6" GROUP at TWO THOUSAND YARDS...
  18. COLD BORE!!! TWO THOUSAND YARDS!!! @Magwa, brother, I wish so damn bad, that someone would have recorded that speech I gave you before that shot...
  19. Check out this horse...
  20. That's the first thing I thought of, too...
  21. Yep! I've heard it, too! "IMPACT!" "Nah, BUULLSHIIIT..."
